Excellent location, wonderful breakfast, decent cleanliness. No WiFi in rooms, but other than that no complaints. Great staff, nice bar. Super!

Hi guys, I stayed in this hostel in January and can only recommend it. Our room was pretty big, even though it was for six people. The room was clear. Breakfest offer was also very good. In summer I was in Vienna too and stayed in 3* hotel and it was much worse then the Wombat.

I booked this hostel after staying in the Wombat's Berlin. Just as good: impeccably clean, nice colours, good vibe, good location, private bathroom in the room. I have no doubts: if you are looking for a cheap place to stay in Vienna, this is the place!

There are 3 different Wombats locations in Vienna; so make sure you know which one you are looking at. This particular property was great. It is located less than five minutes from the Westbahnhof train station which makes getting in and out of Vienna very easy. Wombats is by far the cleanest hostel we have ever stayed in. This hostel was a pretty good location, everything was clean and the help was fairly friendly. The area downstairs for Wi-Fi, kitchen and dining room was just very large and did not create the normal hostel atmosphere of mingling and making new friends. I have heard the Wombats in Newmarket is much better than this one.

This hostel was absolutely outstanding! To start with, the location is literally next to westbanhof...for those of you who have never been to Vienna, this is not exactly the center of downtown...but it's surrounded by late night food and grocery stores and not...very convinent for someone just showing up to the city or showing up late.
