The hotel is simple and has a restaurant attached. Has all the normal amenities for a hotel of its size. Had no problems with wifi. Attending a conference which was a 15 minute walk away close to the Schonnbrun palace. For those unable to walk uphill, maybe a car would give them easier access to the hotel. Friendly staff.

We went to this restaurant for a family event. We were a party of about 30 pax. There is absolutely no choice on the food menu and don't expect anything of the beverage menu. The food is everything but freshly cooked. On my opinion it comes directly out of the freezer. I had the Schnitzel and it was so dry... More

We want to find hotel for 2 day stay which is close to Schonbrun zoo. And this was nice place. Clear 3* hotel with atmosfere and tasty food. Staff has no problem with my german language from school;) We have room on 3th floor for 4 people; 2 adult and 2 children. Little problem was that there was only one... More

Very nice place, extremely friendly staff, a bit far from the center, but this is not a problem for Vienna. Big rooms, good internet, very convenient. Definitely will stay there in the future. The only negative bit is that they do not accept credit card for a restaurant (accept for the hotel, though).

I was there with some colleagues from across EU, we had a meeting in a close by institution. The room was great and the breakfast was OK. The staff was friendly. In some of the rooms my colleagues did not have WiFi but rather than this it was all OK.

I just finished a three night stay at the Hotel Bergwirt. The rooms are quite old and in need of renovation and the toilet is probably the most uncomfortable I have ever used. The wifi in the rooms is so weak that it´s almost unusable. The bed was very comfortable but had feather pillows. Additionally request a room facing the... More

We loved the location and the convenience of the bus stop across the street. The room was adequate, comfortable, and clean. The restaurant and breakfasts were just fine (though the meals a bit pricey). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Called us an airport shuttle each way. But because there is no air conditioning, we had to sleep with... More

This hotel is still family run and great for families travelling together. From personal experience, it is always an issue finding a hotel room spacious enough in Europe for a family of four! Well, if you going to Vienna, the Bergwirt caters for families. On entering the room, you have a decent size corridor, large bathroom. The bedroom had 2... More

We arrived early (10 am), as was coordinated prior to our arrival. The reception lady told us that check-in is from 14:00 and we should leave. Since we didn't intend to leave, she scorned us. Since we still had no intention of leaving (we were a family of 4 with 2 small children after a long travel) she called another... More

We stayed here in July while driving through because as we learned passing through Austria the first time, hotels close around 11/11:30pm. So we booked this hotel in advance to make sure we had a place to sleep. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by a wonderful lady who helped us find parking and check in without problem. The hotel... More
