I ended up staying at the Levante Parliament at the tail end of a business trip. I'd moved from a good value 5 star hotel to the Levante on the basis that it appeared similar in style and (therefore) service. I booked via Hotels.com (don't do it - its always a mistake) and bought a prepaid room with a single... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in May whilst holidaying in Vienna. We found the rooms to be clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel itself is located close to parks and gardens, Rathaus, parliament, and a main subway station, and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Imperial Palace and surrounds. We had a room on... the hotel lived up to its claims of being a modern stylish establishment. The reception was friendly and efficient allocating the interconnecting rooms we had requested. One room had a slight problem with sink plug and drain smell. The hotel was quiet and felt luxurious. Very well situated near the Rathaus, Parliament, museums, parks and Hofburg Palace.

We stayed here 11/5/15 to 14/5/15. We had a double and a single room. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were absolutely brilliant, there was nothing that was too much trouble. The deal we had included breakfast which was always fresh and well presented. Our room was quite large and had all the usual amenities other than tea/coffee... More

I have stayed here for only 2 nights due to the working trip in Vienna, but it was enough to realize that the Levante Parliament is a pleasant, nice hotel with helpful staff, good breakfast offer and cute, clean room and great location. I would definitely come back for vacation and enjoy more in the atmosphere of their nice courtyard.

My friend and I had booked a twin bedroom but on arrival had been allocated a double. When I requested to move I was told all the twins had been allocated to other people and there was nothing they could do. I found the receptionist initially very unhelpful and unapologetic. They did find us a twin room for the next... More

Spent three nights here. Warm welcome at reception upon arrival.Room was a good size & clean. We were on main road which was a bit noisy from 6am despite double glazing. Excellent breakfast & again staff were welcoming & helpful. Nice touch was upon departure and whilst waiting for our taxi they gave us a glass of water each. Location... More

We stayed here on our honeymoon and had the most amazing time! The staff were so helpful and friendly and left a bottle of Prosecco, chocolates and roses in our room to celebrate our honeymoon. The breakfast was brilliant and we loved that they served to 12noon at the weekend. We will definitely come back. Thank you Team Levante for... More

We stayed here during our anniversary trip. The decor is modern and fun. The rooms were large and nicely furnished. There was a separate sitting area and sleeping area with comfortable bedding. The bathrooms are well equipped (rain shower head). We included daily breakfast with our room rate. I think it was a fair value. The buffet offered plenty of... More

Stayed over a weekend. The room was very clean and was nicely decorated. Plenty of storage options. Quality mattress for a good sleep. The room was a bit on the smaller side but I didn't stay too much in the room. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very polite and friendly. I wanted to have a late checkout as... More

Staying in Josefstadt

Neighborhood Profile
The eighth district is an older generation’s Vienna at its finest: and this is what makes it popular with locals of all ages. Josefstadt has theater, small independent shops, romantic passageways, neighborhood cafés with regular clientele, church squares, town palaces and shady communal gardens. Trendy hangouts have conquered distinctive places such as the Old General Hospital (Altes AKH) and the vaults of overground U6. Theater in der Josefstadt on Josefstädter Strasse is the district’s cultural epicenter. Even if your German isn’t good enough to watch a play, you can marvel at the typical Biedermeier building and take a glimpse into the foyer. Lange Gasse houses an iconic local restaurant at its corner, as well as a legendary sweet shop and a bustling neighborhood market every Saturday. For small palace atmosphere and a different view on Vienna’s history, make your way to Schönborn garden palace (Palais Schönborn), which houses the Museum of Folk and Folk Art (Volkskundemuseum). Maria-Treu-Platz, with its summer outdoor cafés facing baroque church Maria Treu, and the historic passageway of Lerchenfelder Strasse 13 hide top spots for insiders.
