I stayed at this hotel. While on a Munich Vienna trip. This hotel is of very high standard and very clean . This is a small boutique hotel with a personal touch, the rooms are very nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful in everyway. I also had the breakfast buffet with my stay and found it... More

Stayed here July 2014. Initial hiccup with hotel assigning the wrong kind of room for my stay. This was fixed after the first night and I was moved to the balcony studio I reserved. The extra cost for the balcony studio is well worth it as the room is larger with a sofa bed and the balcony overlooks the shopping... More

Luxury might be taking it to be bit of a stretch but the staff make up the difference. After touring 5 western European Countries, I had a pretty good feel for the hotel market and enjoyed teh small intimate setting of the Das Tyrol. The staff always ready with a hello, good bye or may I help. Teh included breakfast... More

Well positioned. Difficult for elderly people with luggage as parking to offload luggage is a bit complicated. No valet parking. Minimum staff. But very pleasant service and nice hotel, clean rooms and convenient location.

This small hotel is big on location. Just a 5 minute walk from the wonderful museums and the very centre of Vienna!. The Hotel is located on the longest shopping strip in Vienna, so there is always plenty to do. Yet despite this excellent location, there was no noise in my room (34) and I slept wonderfully on my very... More

This charming hotel is tucked just off a major shopping street that leads directly to the museum district. It takes less than five minutes to reach the Ring Road. The personal service is great! I want to mention Armin, Nadine and Bettina on the front desk. Each of them are knowledgable and most eager to assist. When my scheduled tours... More

Das Tyrol really lives up to its description of small luxury hotel. The rooms are spacious, very clean, extremely well appointed with super decor and the beds are really comfortable. Service is second to none. The staff on reception are so helpful and knowledgeable. Das Tyrol is perfectly located (on the edge of Museum Quarter) for exploring Vienna. There are... More

Booked for a family trip. This small hotel is on the border of the museum and opera quarters, half a block off a main shopping street. We had 6 rooms per floor so it was very quiet and private although judging by the crowd at breakfast, full. the buffet was fairly extensive and eggs were available, cooked to order. Would... More

This was an excellent hotel. We had Room 20, which was at the front on the second floor with a small balcony. With the doors and windows closed, there was no discernible street noise, as the windows and door to the balcony appeared to be double-glazed. There was a Nespresso machine in the room, a range of toiletries including mouthwash... More

On arriving at the hotel you only see a door way at the top end of the lane. By the time the driver had our luggage out of the Limo we had the receptionist and a helper picked it up and took it into reception. Never before had we experienced this. The young lady that greeted us in reception was... More
