It is located in the middle of the shopping street in Vienna, fair for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful, service is limited, Breakfast is across the street and the rooms are small. Difficult to get to with a car, best with taxi. There is a hotel discount for parking but the area is not very safe and... More

I decided to stay here because they have a good price and location: metro station is right in front of this place, shopping street, attractions. Moreover, They also have good stuffs, clean rooms and also good breakfast.

I stayed there during 4 nights, it is clean, room with good size, bathroom also with good size. Breakfast is included in the rate and very good but is across the street which is not a problem. The location could not be better, the street has all sort of stores, subway station in front of the pension. English is spoken... More

I'd recommend staying in this hotel to my friends and colleagues. Excellent location, very close to the U3 metro station, clean room, nice and considerate staff, good breakfast to be selected by the guest out of 4 options. As i stayed there on Sunday, we had breakfast at the reception area but on working days it is served in a... More

The hotel is right in front of the metro stop which is very convenient. It's about 20 minutes to the city center walking. The street it is on is lined with loads of shops and cafes. Warning- we nearly walked past the entrance. There is almost like a hallway crammed between two shops. You walk down the hallway of the... More

we reached the location only because of the navigation system: in front of the entrance we saw the inscription with the name of the pension, but externally it is difficult to identify it as such, because the structure seems in effect consists of residential apartments. The building is quite dated, the furniture is old, and the bathroom was chipped and... More

Excellent location! It rained for our whole stay in Vienna but there is a subway station ,Neubeagasse, right at the front door.Everything you want to see is a short subway ride away. The room was comfortable and clean. We had free wifi but i had to sit in the dining area to use it.Breakfast was standard fare and it certainly wasn't expensive.we definitely would... On the first day, our room was still busy so the staff offered us another room as compensation, which turned out to be 3 room appartment! Also, wifi normally is for 20 euro per stay, but staff offered it us for free as a compensation for previous discomfort. Excellent location, very easy to find. Although, nothing fancy. It is 100%... You get what you pay for in this world, my friend. My primary criterion for choosing hotels on my ten country, five week travels in Europe was location. Mariahilf has that, perfect location. The amenities are two star, though. Busy street out my window, Lund into the night, with no AC so the window needed to be open in August.... More

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
