From the moment my wife and I stepped through the doors of the Ritz Carlton we felt enveloped in an atmosphere of welcoming care and attention and tasteful luxury. Dominic who checked us in was charming and helpful as was the kind gentlemen who showed us to our lovely room. It was our first anniversary and the staff couldn't do... More

Close-in location made for easy walking to all the major city center sites in Vienna. Also extremely easy to hop on the u-bahn in the Stadtpark for a quick ride to Schonbrunn Palace. Room was very large, though would have appreciated more lighting as the room aesthetics tended to be dark. Large bathroom with separate shower and tub, with lovely... More

How wonderful it is when all your expectations are exceeded. When in Vienna and you want to sight-see, you must take advantage of the extremely efficient underground metro, and the Ritz Carlton is within a 3 minute scenic walk to the station. The hotel is a converted mansion and the business center floor has preserved the dark wood paneling, art... More

Just spent 4 nights at the Ritz Carkton , Vienna. Service was good , the bedrooms very comfortable although not spacious. There is a very nice rooftop bar and the spa facilities include an excellent pool. The location is also good , I guess the reason that it's not a 5 is that the hotel lacks a little luxury and... The location was great and the spa amenities are amazing. It's so relaxing after a day of walking all over the city to be able to step in the sauna and steam room then enjoy a dip in the pool. The rooms were spacious and clean. Upgrade to a room with a balcony if you can, we did and it... More

What a great place to explore Vienna. Beautiful hotel, amazing rooms and high standard of service from all of the staff. Loved our stay, fitness centre and the gym were great, nice steel pool and good sauna and steam room. Breakfast is delicious with great eggs benadict and french toast and an extensive buffet. Highly recommended.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
