Excellent location, charming room and great service at the front desk. Nice touch of damp towels and refreshments on arrival. Good breakfast. Walking distance to many top attractions. Concierge very knowledgeable and helpful.

Very nice hotel in the museum district of Vienna. Location is well placed, close to old town, museums, palace etc. Beautiful clean rooms with attentive and very helpful staff. Very good breakfast. We were there 5 nights and have no complaints.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. By FAR the worst experience of our lives. Terrible service from arrogant and cocky staff. Highly unaccommodating breakfast, the worst room service and housekeeping in the history of hotels. I will NEVER EVER stay in this hotel again

Dear Harsh J, thank you very much for your review about your stay at Sans Souci Wien! We regret that you were not satisfied with our hotel services. Therefore we already offered you an upgrade from your booked superior room to our luxury room category - an offer you decided to refuse. We would like to outline that our staff... More

Outstanding Hotel! Everything is perfect! Nice staff, nice venue, nice location... Among the best Boutique Hotel I've been! Close to VolksTheater Subway, which leads everywhere. Walkable distance to the best Tripadvisor Resto! For swimmer, bring your swimsuit!

Very modern and stylish hotel, great attention to details. Location was near Museum Quartier - great if you enjoy staying in a chic district, near to some cool shopping areas (away from the main touristy spots, but still a convenient location). Highlights of what we loved - Decor: I love the purple color scheme and the room was tastefully decorated.... More

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Service is very good. Everyone we met at this hotel was very polite. They have a spa, but we only used the pool (it was a bit too cold for me). Breakfast is well served. You can order delicius eggs and pancakes all included in the bill. We had dinner once at the... More

This hotel is beautiful and everyone is very attentive. We had a fantastic stay. Christian at the front desk arranged perfect rooms for us and made sure everything was per our request. We arrived early and our luggage was taken care of until our rooms were ready. Our rooms were very luxurious, spacious, and clean. This is the best hotel.... More

Great location - walking distance to everywhere you need to go and close to an underground station ( Volkstheatre) to get further afield if you want. Very nice rooms, lovely staff , comfy beds . We asked for a quiet room and we got one on the 3 rd floor , at the back, so not on the street side.... More

What a great hotel! We stayed 3 nights in a beautiful Junior Suite with gorgeous wooden parquetry floors, marble bathroom with a free-standing bathtub and a separate spacious shower, nice classy chandeliers, separate toilet etc. I just loved the furniture and interior design of this room which was old world glamour mixed with modern conveniences. The location is great too,... More

The staff is young, attractive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Hotel rooms are very efficient, super clean, quiet, and well appointed. Have stayed at Hotel Imperial, Sofitel, and Strudelhop during past visits; all were fine, but Sans Souci felt the most personal and welcoming. Location is superb, and less touristy than many other hotels.

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
