Amazing hotel with all its services.. enjoyed our stay as a family the room size was very convenient and toilet was huge unlike other European hotels. Location is very central for shopping and metro and restaurants at different levels. The only thing I would recommend is facilitating the ironing facilities in the room as sometimes it is for urgent pressing... More

We stayed 4 nights here in late January as we were visiting Vienna for our 35th wedding anniversary. The plus side of the hotel is that it is very well located and you can walk to most of the main attractions in Vienna. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfasts, although expensive, were excellent and set us up... More

A great location, easy walking distance to many attractions and the subway. With the windows cracked open, we could hear the street musicians playing Mozart on the Kaerntner Straus! Noise on the Straus was not an issue. The hotel was clean and comfortable. They serve a very nice breakfast/brunch (but at a relatively high price).

Good hotel very central with very spacious and comfortable rooms. We didn't have breakfast included but found very good places nearby that were excellent. The only issue we had - which others may need to be aware of, is that smoking was allowed in the lounge area, which was next to the restaurant (and the doors between them were always... More

This hotel was very well-located. You can easily walk to many top Vienna attractions (St Stephens, the Opera House, the Albertina, Hotel Sacher, Spanish Riding School, and so on. The hotel is also easily accessible to public transportation. In two different directions, it's a short walk to two different subway/underground lines - Karlsplatz and Stephansplatz. In addition, Karlsplatz has tram... More

Wow a wonderful hotel right in city centre on Kaerntner Street. We stayed in Room 324 , Vienna Classic room which was spacious with 2 windows from December 17 - December 21. A surprise awaited us in our room, congratulations card for our 25th wedding anniversary and chocolates. The selection for breakfast was outstanding the best we ever had in... More

Hotel has a great central location - room on the third floor was very spacious and overlooked the square Neuer Markt. Staff were friendly and informative. Only one negative was smoking being allowed in the bar where the open aspect meant the upper floor levels felt uncomfortable while waiting for the lifts etc. Also sitting in the Bar having a... This is the third time we have stayed here. We booked early and got our favoured room. Generally the hotel is fine and location could not be better. Staff are friendly and efficient. This is a positive review overall but I can't leave without a mention of the smoking policy and its effect. The room next to ours must have... More

The hotel is very central for everything you would like to visit in Vienna. It is a very nice clean, comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff . Our room was very spacious although the furniture and decor looked a bit tired so this is one reason I wouldn't rate it as 5* in comparison to others we have stayed in.... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
