Famous and well located hotel if you are interested in the historic centre of Vienna. I recommend to leave your car in one of parking houses named "Park and Ride". It is for a small money and always with a good access to the tube.

As usual and as expected a great hospitality. A good room and a good location - what else you can expect. Public transportation are all nearby. A small suggestion- the frosted glass partition between bedroom and the bath area is not opaque and we had to take our child out every time me or my wife is taking a shower.Something... More

Stayed at this hotel for the third time last night. Always impressed by the friendly staff at checkin. The rooms are very nice and modern, especially the bathrooms are done very nicely. The only small drawback is the size of the gym - for this size of a hotel, it could be a bit bigger. Otherwise, all thumbs up including... More

the hotel was located right in the mid city of Vienna, very European style, very clean and feels like home. i love the bed and the pillows. Amenities in the room was too good and was very private and quiet. Also close to lots of restaurants and eating outlets which was a walking distance from the hotel. Customer services was excellent,... More

We had a very relaxing long weekend in the beautiful city of Vienna, and we splashed out and stayed in the junior suite. The hotel is very stylish, clean and very well laid out. The staff are exceptional, kind, courteous, helpful and friendly. The suite was well lit, clean and very well appointed, the ensuite is fantastic. Lovely roll top... More

The hotel has a trendy feel about it with nicely laid out rooms with a 'clean' feel about it. It's not like other hotels in Vienna which focus on the classic look that matches the rest of the city. Well worth a stay of you want somewhere to relax but still being close to the city centre. The bar is... More

We stayed here during the first leg of our journey in Austria. Location - Good location. Just a short walk from popular pedestrian street karntnerstrasse which starts at Karlplatz and runs all the way until Stephenplatz. You would just walk up to all the famous sites from this hotel. We did a huge mistake by purchasing 48 hour hop on... More

We visited Austria in March and had a wonderful time staying at the Le Meridian. I am an SPG platinum member and spend a lot of time on the road in similar hotels. For an American/French hotel in Austria, it was very good. Because upgrades unfortunately aren't an assurance, we paid for a medium sized suite, which was beautiful. The... More

First time trying Le Meridien -- and very happy that I did. I usually stay at the Bristol across the street. A hotel that I've come to enjoy very much for its historic significance and quaint rooms. The Meridien is an entirely different experience. It's very modern, very stylish -- in fact much more so than other Meridiens I've enjoyed... More

Visited Vienna in November and I was realy impressed with the hotel. It's a realy cool place to be. The room was big enough, cozy bed, food great... But what impressed me the most was the service in the hotel. Everybody were extremly nice!!! Hope to be back again ...

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
