We greatly enjoyed staying at this hotel in Vienna. From the moment we entered the hotel the staff were efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. At check-in we mentioned that we were woefully ignorant of the city of Vienna and immediately a very helpful member of staff produced a map and proceeded to show us the best areas to visit for... My Family Stayed in in early April, 2015. From the very first moment we got to the hotel, staff went out of their way to assist us. We had paid for a suite upgrade and really enjoyed the fabulous and comfortable suite (especially the spacious massage shower). The hotel is located very close to a plethora of museums, restaurants and... More

Chose this Hotel as it is part of the SPG group so I was able to use my points for some of the nights. The Hotel is super central for all the attractions and the city centre, our room was actually facing the Hofburg and we could see the Opera from an angle. The Hotel is in an old 19century... More

My wife and I stayed here three nights while visiting the epic Christmas markets of Vienna. We easily walked to the major night markets and to shopping galore. Plenty of excellent places to eat in the area as well. Highly, highly recommended.

I prefer decor to be much more conventional than is the case in the Meridien but once you get past the weird and funky and if you do not get lost in the ridiculously dark lifts or are not completely thrown by the deeply tasteless pink revolving doors at the entrance, its a comfortable hotel. Check in was very welcoming... More

No, it will not become my regular place to stay in Vienna. The usual artsy modern place for the young and the forever young. For a boutique hotel it is simply too big, though. Try to find the right button for your floor in the gloomy elevators. While the service may reach average standard you definitely find better quality in... More

Dear „trufflesnout“, Thank you for your review and your honest feedback. It is a pity that you were not able to fully enjoy your stay with us though. Also it is a great pity that our hotel did not quite meet your expectations and that you found our services to be not quite satisfying. In case your travels bring you... More

This is a very nice hotel with a very centric location. I really like the fact that the minibar is complimentary, with a simple selection of juices and a beer. Rooms have a nice size and with a very nice bathroom as well, probably my only "complain" is that the matress is too soft. Really recommended.

Not a 5 star hotel as advertised. Good location trendy (dark) design. Friendly staff. Have breakfast somewhere else. There are good breakfast locations and restaurants near by. Room was large and comfortable. Lobby very small not useable. OK for business and the price is right.

Hotel was located right on the ring, we were able to get to the sites very easily and also explore some of the other lesser traveled neighborhoods. Room was very clean and had a great soaker tub as well. Only complaint is that shower had neither ledge nor door so the floor gets pretty soaked. Amazingly powerful Valera hair dryer.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
