Warm welcome, friendly staff. Good value. Adequate room. City centre and transport within easy walking distance. Nachtsmarkt across the road - excellent for browsing, a drink, a snack or a full meal - especially at night.

Nice hotel in an old building, the golden staircase in particular is beautifil. Rooms are nice and clean! From our window we had a wonderful view over the city. It is near Karlplatz U-Bahn station, and there's a very nice ethnic food market just opposit the hotel. We also enjoyed the breakfast: rich and tasty. Last but not least the... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Convenient location being a close walk to the centre of Vienna. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helped us with any questions about the hotel or Vienna. The room was adequate and clean. Breakfast was fine and simple. Value for money and would recommend.

We stayed here for a week and couldn't have been happier. Our room had just been updated. It was clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was small but had a good shower. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10 and includes eggs, assorted breads, fresh tomatoes, yogurt muesli, fresh fruit, coffee/tea, even sparkling wine! The staff are very friendly and... More

We stayed here for two nights as a group of three friends. The welcome we received from start to finish was great. Both daytime and evening staff were extremely helpful and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. We were recommended places to eat and visit, all of which were worthwhile. The room itself had been recently refurbished and was... More

It´s a very good hotel, just beside naschmarkt, with a lot of restuarants and good shopping. It´s not so long in to city where You can find all most intresting buildings an many shops also. The rooms was clean and not noisy, and the breakfast was excellent, specially with champagne.

Rather quirky hotel - budget and minimal facilities in the rooms, but then a bottle of sparkling wine to make your own mimosas every breakfast. Nice priorities! Friendly staff, who'll help you find your way around, call taxis that arrive in 3 minutes etc. A good place for groups, we had a large group stay, and they accommodated us well.... More

Reasonably priced hotel in very good location (on Naschmarket, few minutes walk from Opera). Rooms are gradually renovated. We got such room, which had modern furnishing. Good breakfast buffet with Champagne. The bathroom did not have a heater and was rather cold, but there were preparations made for electric heater, hope they will install it soon.

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
