It´s a very good hotel, just beside naschmarkt, with a lot of restuarants and good shopping. It´s not so long in to city where You can find all most intresting buildings an many shops also. The rooms was clean and not noisy, and the breakfast was excellent, specially with champagne.

Rather quirky hotel - budget and minimal facilities in the rooms, but then a bottle of sparkling wine to make your own mimosas every breakfast. Nice priorities! Friendly staff, who'll help you find your way around, call taxis that arrive in 3 minutes etc. A good place for groups, we had a large group stay, and they accommodated us well.... More

Reasonably priced hotel in very good location (on Naschmarket, few minutes walk from Opera). Rooms are gradually renovated. We got such room, which had modern furnishing. Good breakfast buffet with Champagne. The bathroom did not have a heater and was rather cold, but there were preparations made for electric heater, hope they will install it soon.

The Italian receptionist is a very kind person. The position is excellent, there are a lot of nice restaurants around there, but there was a bad smell in the hotel (a smell of mold I suppose) but only in the common parts, not in the room.

Close to all tourist locations and the Karlsplatz for public transport. Excellent breakfast, even sekt is for free available. Our room was a bit too small, bed against the wall. Bathroom clean but the shower too small nor normal people, and very unconfortabe to step-in and out, lose spry nozzle was impossible to fix

I was looking for a simple, clean, and quiet hotel close to our Vienna office. I looked at the map on booking.com and then started to read reviews of hotels near by. Luckily, I picked the Drei Kronen. I was in room 409, a single with a big bathroom. It was quiet and warm. No view, but I prefer quiet... More

I originally found this hotel by chance when I was coming in for an international conference. The location (near the Karlsplatz subway station, and right next to the Naschmarkt) is exceptionally convenient for getting places and for dinner when you get back. The breakfast is very serviceable and tasty, if not too fancy, and the staff win points from me... More

The staff and service was very good. Even before i arrived the clarifications provided to me showed customer centric attitude. The hotel was little old and room very small but the comforts were good. More lighting in the room could be provided - otherwise it was very dull and felt little gloomy in the otherwise fantastic city of Vienna.

This is a beautiful classic hotel in a fabulous location across from the open markets and restaurants. It was quiet and clean with a hearty breakfast which included champagne for mimosas. The unfortunate part was that our room was not available when we arrived (we booked early spring for a July holiday). We are a family of three and we... More

Stayed there for a short week in March this year. Ver friendly staff, good location next to the food market. Affordable priced for the location. Yes, the hotel is a bit classically designed, nothing fancy but it fits very well int he classism of the rest of Vienna.

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
