The hotel was very clean and comfortable with a nice, though basic, breakfast. It is nicely situated at the "naschmarkt" and only a few steps away from the U-bahn stop "Karlsplatz" and the "Statsoper" where you can start a Hop-on/Hop-off bus tour. The staff at the reception desk was also very friendly and always prepared to help.

Its 3 stars and you feel it. Staff is friendly at the reception. Room was poor and used and a smell of disinfection liquid was around. Flat screen has same size as a laptop and only German channels. Breakfast was included and nice.

While not the fanciest hotel I've had the pleasure of staying in, it was quaint and conveniently located. The elevator was a tight fit and we opted for the many flights of stairs to our 6th floor room, though the rooms appointments were nothing to write home about, they were both clean and in good repair. We found the staff... More

Only 5 minutes walk from the Old City, this hotel was perfect for exploring Vienna. Our room was right at the top, which meant the lift plus one floor via the stairs. The room wasn't the largest, but it was in the roof space, so it wasn't that surprising. It was nice and clean, had wifi, and the bed was... More

This is in a convenient location near the old market and a short walk from the city centre. I thought the reception was very polite and helpful, Nice spread for a champagne breakfast and clean throughout. Nothing wrong with this for a three star at all .

Staff were friendly and provided a map and information about tourist attractions. It is located just over 5 minutes walk to the nearest train station Karlsplatz which is two stops from Wein HBF. The hotel is across the road from a food market which povides fresh food, jucies, bread, restaurants and drinking establishments which are opened to 11pm (not opened... More

I just spent 5 days in this hotel and loved it. Yes the rooms are small,This is Europe, but the location is excellent, away from downtown, right in front of a market ( try NENI the Israeli restaurant, the food is amazing), cool Cafe. I particularly liked the reception staff who were so helpful with my many demands. The bed was... More

I stayed here for 8 days during the summer. My room was small and comfortable with a great view over the Naschmarkt. I loved the breakfast -- very filling and mercifully available til 10am, for us non-morning people. The staff were courteous and always helpful. Very responsive, all of them. There are certainly more central hotels, if you wanna be... More

Warm welcome, friendly staff. Good value. Adequate room. City centre and transport within easy walking distance. Nachtsmarkt across the road - excellent for browsing, a drink, a snack or a full meal - especially at night.

Nice hotel in an old building, the golden staircase in particular is beautifil. Rooms are nice and clean! From our window we had a wonderful view over the city. It is near Karlplatz U-Bahn station, and there's a very nice ethnic food market just opposit the hotel. We also enjoyed the breakfast: rich and tasty. Last but not least the... More
