On the plus side, it's convenient for the Westbahnhof (about 250 yards down the street - if you don't want to walk it there's a tram) and the centre, it's good value for Vienna, and above all the staff are understanding and considerate. On the negative side, rooms can be small (or mine was anyway, but the bathroom was OK),... More

Lovely big rooms, friendly staff, and very clean, and with a balcony (which doubled as a fridge overnight) we enjoyed our stay immensely. 10 minutes on the tram to Schloss Schonbrunn, a little over half an hour to walk into town, or a 5 minute walk to Westbahnhof and a 5 minute ride on the underground. There's a first rate... More

Stayed there for a long weekend in Vienna. The room was large and comfortable. It was an easy underground ride to the center. For the amount paid I thought it was amazing value for money. It was annoyong that you couldn't even have the option of getting wifi in the rooms, and that is the only reason I am not... More

Good place to stay for a weekend. 4-5 min walk from Westbahghof station. 5 min by metro to Stephanplaz (city center). Big room, terrible view - we saw tubes and other windows just opposite us. No fridge, no wi-fi, tinny sheets. Breakfast is outside hotel, 9 euro, if you don't have a time to walk and eat somewhere else, you... More

Stayed here after reading the reviews. Was concerned about it being a bit further out but I should have been! I thought the location was excellent (and safe), just a short 5min walk and I could get absolutely anywhere in city. Also next door is the Mariahilferbrau restaurant! Perfect food. Highly, highly recommend. The rooms were clean and large (we... More

Where to begin! We stayed there for 5 days in December, and the first thing to say is that it's definitely not four stars, maybe two. The staff at reception varied from rude to merely indifferent. At checkin, the guy at reception treated us with disdain as if we were interrupting his afternoon. Halfway through checking us in, another couple... More

This hotel has the very basic amenities but the one feature that they lacked was Wi-Fi in the rooms. It's free in the lobby but who wants to sit in the lobby to get online? Their breakfast costs 8 euros and is at the famous restaurant Mariahhilferbrau. It was nothing spectacular to be honest and the service at the restaurant... More

We stayed here for 1 week during December and found the following: Pros -Very close to a shopping centre (10 min walk) and if you walk a bit further you reach the main shopping street of Vienna. -Quite a few cafe's and eating places to choose from near the hotel. -Majority of the time staff were friendly Cons -No tea/coffee... As noted by others the hotel is in an excellent location. Literally a 5 minute walk from Westbanhof which you can then use to access literally everything in Vienna. Even if you can't be bothered walking the tram stop is literally yards away so you can take that instead. A lot of kebab and pizza shops along this particular stretch... More

From the beginning, 16 Euro a night for parking. Parking lot can only be accessed by the person at the desk physically running down the street to to unlock the gate. This goes for anytime you need to access your vehicle whether you are arriving/departing or just retrieving articles from your carriage. The attitude given off by the person doing... More
