Sure, maybe I'm biased, but I can't say a single bad thing about this place. It's clean, neat, comfortable and very accesible. You can get there from Westbahnhof taking the U3 (yellow subway) towards Simmerimng and go just 2 stops. Right over a Promod store and close to everything you'll ever need, it has the most amazing clerks and maids... More

I picked this hotel up through Priceline - supposedly four star - I think Priceline need to get out more. On comparison to other hotels on the trip this was 2.5 * at best. The picture on the Priceline website is somewhat misleading also. The hotel is a small doorway in the side of that building, up two floors and... More

my family got form the reception a two-bedroom apartment in an apartment building next to the hotel. It was quite ok, clean, quiet, enough space, a little kitchen well equiped ( although we hadn't time to use the kitchen), a toilet room and a bathroom with bathtub and clean towels every second day, free wi-fi, a flat tv in every bedroom.... My family and I stayed at this hotel for three nights in a two-bedroom room. Our room is opposite to the check-in counter. And next to the counter is breakfast area. The room is clean and equip with everything we needed. The breakfast area is quite small but the food is very nice. Many breads to choose from and coldcut,... More

Stayed at hotel pension continental for one night and it definitely wasn't a flattering place, the rooms were very dated and the overall appearance was a bit run down. It poured rain out the whole time so we didn't get out to see the sights, so I can't comment on the location. It is an easy trip on the subway... More

Close to the Westbahnhof, right at the exit of a metro station (Neubangasse), friendly, clean, lovely, and in the right price range. We go to Vienna quite often and every time we make sure to stay at this place. We have tried other places but they just don't make the cut for us. The clerks will literally get out of... More

I would give 2, max 3*. Clean rooms, but strange building, poor but good enough breakfast and attractive location and good price/value combination gave this hotel such high evaluation... nice reception service and helpful staff...

Around Thanksgiving, a colleague and I spent three nights in Vienna at this hotel. We selected this hotel primarily because of the reasonable cost and positive reviews, and we were not disappointed. The employees were exceptionally friendly and helpful and spoke English beautifully. The rooms were spotless, well-appointed, and comfortable. The internet worked perfectly during our stay, and there were... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
