The hotel is very well placed in a shopping street and not far from an underground station and not far from restaurants. It is clean and well maintained. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Thank you for the welcome!!!

We stayed at the Vienna Continental Hotel this May, 2015. The hotel was perfect. It had a great location, in a very safe area, with local shopping, bars and restaurants. The access to the underground rail system was fantastic and allowed you to go anywhere in the city easily. The staff was extremely helpful with anything we needed and bridged... More

After arriving at our hotel and completing check-in, we were escorted to the apartment we had contracted through the hotel. The hotel receptionist was thorough and very helpful. At first sight, we were a little apprehensive as the apt appeared somewhat rundown. The layout was odd with one bedroom behind the main room (bedroom and living room) which made sharing... More

The hotel is situated in the pedestrian zone with many restaurants and pubs around. For sightseeing it is perfect. I asked for a quiet room, but I was given a room oriented toward the street with human noise all night. The woman at reception gave me wrong information about heating, so the first night I could not turn off the... More

Conveniently placed, has some attractions at walking distance (ie. Museums Quartier, Hofburg, etc.) and for others there is a very close metro station. The hotel shares the building with other companies so I can't fault them for the old elevator or stairs. Inside it looks ok and clean. Our room was big (we stayed there for 4 nights) and we... More

We spent 3 nights in this hotel's two bedroom apartment - excellent for a family with children, The location in the middle of Marihilfer St, is excellent, with the underground station just two minutes away. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very welcoming. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi free in the apartment was good and fast... More

Sure, maybe I'm biased, but I can't say a single bad thing about this place. It's clean, neat, comfortable and very accesible. You can get there from Westbahnhof taking the U3 (yellow subway) towards Simmerimng and go just 2 stops. Right over a Promod store and close to everything you'll ever need, it has the most amazing clerks and maids... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
