We booked an apartment in this hotel, which according to its publications, is a 4 stars hotel. The apartment that we received was located in the next building and not in the hotel. The hotel itself is part of a building and the reception located in upper floor. The location of this hotel is very convenient, one minute from the... More

The hotel is located very close to Metro, shopping district and the touristic attractions. I must say that the staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was basic but it was good enough. Also the quality of rooms were quite okay. The air condition did not work; they provided us with a mini table fan. So please check if you are particular... More

I wouldn't say that this is a 4 star hotel but anyway really nice place to stay in Vienna. The exterior looks nothing like a hotel but after taking an elevator to first floor's reception it gets better. Interior is quite cosy and you will get a warm welcome. My single room was spacious enough, equipped with A/C, mini bar... More

This hotel is great value for money and in a wonderful location to explore Vienna. The staff are very helpful and tried to respond to every request. Our a/c was out of order but they were able to relocate us to another room. Great breakfast and wifi works well. Would recommend.

This hotel does not look like much from the street but it is a great value. Wonderful location only yards from the Mariahilfenstrasse and close to U-bahn, museums, restaurants, and attractions. Very reasonably priced. Good continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. The front door closes around 10-11PM but your key gets you in. Small elevator and air conditioning are good... More

The staff is wonderful, they're very friendly and willing to help. Rooms are clean and larger than expected. Located on a fabulous shopping street, not far from a metro station to get around the city. Great location, within walking distance of the Opera and Sisi Museum.

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
