I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July and had a most enjoyable time. The rooms while small were very well designed and spotlessly clean with all necessary facilities. I did not try the breakfast as it was quite expensive but cafe Leonbach nearby served a continental breakfast for a reasonable price. I found the location to be... more

while i wouldn't rave about this hotel; i have no major complaints either, and i would certainly consider staying here again. check-in took nearly 1/2 hour because the receptionist had to keep interrupting himself to take phone calls; not a big deal, but slightly irritating. the rooms were clean and well appointed, but small and without air conditioning, which while... more

My husband and I came to Vienna to celebrate the New Year and stayed at the hotel for four nights. The welcome was warm and friendly and the staff was always very helpful both at the reception and at breakfast. Our room was small(ish) but functional, good for us. The breakfast was great and tasty and the hotel restaurant had... more

This is a nice hotel with a great location, close to the subway (just one stop from the Opera) and to the main tourist atractions. It's true that the room we stayed in looked seriously faded with an outdated decor, straight from the 1960s (in a bad way). But, to get over that, it has one of the best breakfasts... more

Dear all, who are looking for a hotel in Vienna. It took me about a month to read reviews on the internet to find a good hotel with an affordable price. Fidning a hotel online is challenging, because you don't see by your own eyes where you are going to stay, so you don't want any bad surprises to wait... more

My wife and I were due to stay here for 6 nights while I attended a conference at the Technical University. We booked through a booking agency. The hotel is very nice, clean, neat and tastefully decorated. But I had never had a room so tiny. There was room for one suitcase. The double bed took up most of the... more

We stayed here for a long weekend in May 08. The hotel is in a perfect location. An easy 10min stroll to the center of Vienna, all the tourist attractions and a tube station. The hotel is beautiful, very traditional settings with high ceilings, red carpet and even a turtle pool. Breakfast is great - huge buffet selection of both... more

BEST WESTERN ERZHERZOG RAINER We received an excellent and personalized attention. All the staff is very polite, especially Mr. Sposito. We never had to ask him the keys (no cards; it´s a traditional hotel) because when we entered he immediately picked them up. He and one or two more employees speak Spanish, what was great for us. The check-in was... more
