The hostel is located quite good, in the close proximity of an U-Bahn station and the room was clean, quite spacious. The bathroom was okay, nothing special here. The WiFi is available only on the bottom floor, near the reception so if you want WiFi in your room, you can choose something else from the start The main problem was... More

The room was dirty when we arrived. Ok it's hostel, I don't expect a big comfort but I do expect to be clean. There was no WIFI connection possible every day. They didn't pick up the garbage for 4 days (even if I put it in the hall).

I stayed in twin room with my friend. The room was clean and the stuff is smiley and helpful. Prices are reasonable. The only minus of the hostel, that the WiFi is only on the 1st floor. This was kind of not so good. Overall the hostel pleased me.

My brother and I stayed for 3 nights in a double room, and I could not have been more pleased with the accommodation. The room was clean, quiet, well appointed and looked to be recently redecorated. We had a nice ensuite bathroom, with a good shower, and door that locked. Also PLENTY of room to stow away your luggage, a... More

This hostel is a student dorm which is used as a hostel during the summer. The private rooms are spacious and each has its own fridge/freezer which is really useful, as well as there being two spacious kitchens which can be used, which both have good cooking facilities. The location is good, as there is a Lidl supermarket nearby and connections to... First of all, with its location and price this is a good hostel for seeing Vienna. The rooms are perfectly good, cooking facilities are VERY good and the common room is good for chilling, and is also where the wifi is. The problems were that there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, the towels cost 2 Euros and for some... More

I have seen cleaner public toilets than the one in this hostel. They do not have towels in the room(you have to pay 2 euro/towel). They do not have Wi-Fi as they say they do. It is very noisy, it is a student dorm tern in to a hostel. I have payed for 2 nights and stayed 1 because it... More

I stayed here for a few days and was really happy with the hostel. My room was clean when i arrived but still the receptionists told me that if I need additional cleaning I just need to notify them. The staff was fast, coordinated and friendly. I had some really nice chats with the receptionists. The best is that the... More

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
