This hotel is in a good location; very close to the subway, and about a 10 min walk to the main train station. However, it was very basic in its furniture and decor, etc. Breakfast buffet had a fairly good selection, although not as good as some of the hotels we stayed at on our trip. Overall, it's a decent... More

This hotel 3*** is only a three minute walk from the metro and 15 minute walk from the centre city. The room and bathroom are very nice and clean. Staff ok. Breakfast buffet selection is good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff was very helpful. Being only a five minute walk from the main train station and only an easy 15 minute walk from the main downtown area, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The room was nice and clean, and the hotel stay also included a nice breakfast

A nice small basic & budget hotel, part of Austria Trend Hotel chain. Located just 5-10min walk away from the Hbf main station. Helpful & friendly staffs, fast check in/out, clean room & bathroom, good value for money. Breakfast is not included, need to pay for 10 EUR/pax. The breakfast buffet selection is not that much though.

This is probably a better hotel for business travels than tourists. We were treated very graciously by the staff and the daily breakfast buffet was luxurious. The rooms were very clean. The location was convenient for catching the train and subway....very easy access to the main historic district. We ate at a restaurant recommended by the front desk and we... More

The hotel is one block from the Underground and a couple of blocks from the train station. The room/bathrooms are quite comfortable. Wonderful continental breakfast and a very pleasant start to your day.

This hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the main train station. Belevedere Castle is also very close. For the remaining sites, its a bit more of a walk, maybe 15 minutes. The area was nice and felt safe with restaurants/market/bakery all on the same street. The hotel is modern and clean, and our room was huge. The only... More

We stayed here for one night - a Tuesday. Arrival into Vienna was by train at Hauptbahnof station. The station itself is a massive complex and it took some time to find the correct exit but then it was a 5 minute walk to the hotel. From the hotel to Central Vienna you can catch the underground (line 1) and... More

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
