A nice small basic & budget hotel, part of Austria Trend Hotel chain. Located just 5-10min walk away from the Hbf main station. Helpful & friendly staffs, fast check in/out, clean room & bathroom, good value for money. Breakfast is not included, need to pay for 10 EUR/pax. The breakfast buffet selection is not that much though.

This is probably a better hotel for business travels than tourists. We were treated very graciously by the staff and the daily breakfast buffet was luxurious. The rooms were very clean. The location was convenient for catching the train and subway....very easy access to the main historic district. We ate at a restaurant recommended by the front desk and we... More

The hotel is one block from the Underground and a couple of blocks from the train station. The room/bathrooms are quite comfortable. Wonderful continental breakfast and a very pleasant start to your day.

This hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the main train station. Belevedere Castle is also very close. For the remaining sites, its a bit more of a walk, maybe 15 minutes. The area was nice and felt safe with restaurants/market/bakery all on the same street. The hotel is modern and clean, and our room was huge. The only... More

Plus points - The rooms are very nice, clean and modern. Nice beds and other room facilities like shower ect. Best continental breakfast I've ever had whilst staying in Europe (is included with an exec room) Free and good Wifi Most important for me is location, it is honestly a 30 second walk from the main train station// underground. Which... More

We stayed here for one night - a Tuesday. Arrival into Vienna was by train at Hauptbahnof station. The station itself is a massive complex and it took some time to find the correct exit but then it was a 5 minute walk to the hotel. From the hotel to Central Vienna you can catch the underground (line 1) and... More

This hotel is really easy to get to from the airport: Take the train into town (4,40 euro on the S7 or 12 euro on the direct CAT train), and then 3 stops on the U1 line for 2,20. Because it's right next to the subway station (Wien Hbf) it's also great for getting into town, though it's close enough... More

This hotel is perfect for a city break-good location (about 20 mins walk from the centre), friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and room was a good size. They offer information about tours and are happy to tell you about the local area.

We were really looking forward to staying in this hotel. However, upon our arrival, we just found that the breakfast is charged separately (which wasn't stated in reservation). That wasn't a much of a problem, but the dirty room was! We arrived in the afternoon, just to find out that there were tens of empty bottles of wine around the... More

Upon arrival the staff was extremely helpful. It was raining, and they gave out umbrellas. As a US citizen, AC is a standard and elevators are able to fit two people (at least right?) I've grown accustomed to hotels equipped. It was hot and humid and the elevators could barley fit one person with luggage but we managed. Once the... More

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
