My wife and I stayed in this very comfortable and modern (smart, budget-friendly) hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location is decent - walking distance from the main train station (Hbf). There is a tube stop nearby which we used to get around Vienna in the heat of August. Vienna is amazing - we loved the city... More

We loved our stay in this hotel. We stayed 5 days and it was the best choice we could have made. The breakfast is great and responsible girl (who always sits at the entrance) is only sympathy and promptness. The whole staff is super friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is excellent and the bath amenities are always restored and great quality.... More

Clean modern hotel with huge bathroom large bedroom and beds. Mini bar and air conditioning. Five minutes from the metro station and ten minutes from Vienna central train station walking. Nice friendly staff. I would stay here again as it was reasonably priced too!

The hotel is a short walk from Wien HBF, so well located for trams and trains. It is easy to get to the main tourist areas by public transport. There are a couple of supermarkets opposite and plenty of places to get food around the station, I would not bother with the hotel breakfast which was an expensive continental buffet.... More

Very good location near Metro and train station. Quiet, spacious room. Breakfast room bright and clean, facing a lovely outdoor area that would have made for nice dining al fresco if it hadn't been raining while we were there. There were a few steps to go up to get to the elevator, but this wasn't a huge problem.

The hotel is within two blocks of the metro, so excellently situated. We had a great room on the 7th floor of the new wing and we had a balcony. Nice and quiet. TV is in German only????? No English service. Hot water in the shower fluctuates as if it were in a small home. This is very disconcerting. Also... More

Chose this hotel for it's location and wasn't disappointed. We really liked the rooms, which were spacious and clean, with really comfy beds. I loved the fact that they provided 3 running routes in case you were interested in going for a run. The staff was really kind and helpful and the breakfast was nice with a good variety of... More

This Hotel is conveniently located to the City sights. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and have a safe, fridge and great bathrooms. The courtyard is a sanctuary from the hustle of the city. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, tasty, fresh and a great selection.

The Trend was ok- clean and comfortable, decent breakfast in the morning. Close to the metro station but not really walkable to any major tourist attractions. Staff was friendly and easy to work with.

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
