There are lots of positives about this hotel. Its under 10 min walk to gorgeous Belvedere Palace and gardens. the metro stop, convenience store and restaurants are all within 10 min walk and with rooms on higher floors you do get a lovely views towards centre of Vienna with Stephansdome. The staff is very helpful regarding any suggestions about places to... More

We were 3 couples staying in this hotel in 3 rooms. This is a small but very friendly hotel quite close to city centre. The tube station is also close. At 5-10 mins walk, there are different cuisine restaurants available. The rooms are small but have panoramic windows which doesn't make it feel small at all. Rooms have AC &... More

We stayed in this hotel for a month and we could not have picked the better place! The staff was polite, friendly, helpful; kudos to Petra (hope you do well in management, you deserve it). Breakfast lady treats the guest as their own family members. Cleaning staff kept the rooms hospital clean, front desk staff always with a smile and... More

I came to Vienna on 23rd of April on business (conference) and I did not stay long; only for four days, all of them raining days. This it was my first visit, but on such weather it was not quite a pleasure to wander about in the city. Still, I managed to see something. Clima City is at a little... More

I stayed at Clima City for 6 nights and was there for EGU-2014. It's a great hotel for a conference go'er or a tourist. On arrival I asked for a room in the uppermost floors (5th and 6th) and the reception girl, who was very courteous to me (so was everyone else), offered me a room in the 5th floor... More

A very basic hotel and quite a distance from nearest metro station. Not really suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Good points are the cleanliness and comfortable beds. Continental breakfast was just o.k. as I am not a fan of "plastic" cut meats. The selection of breads and croissants was fine. If visiting Vienna again would want a more central... More

A simple hotel in an excellent part of Vienna that is not expensive and has been totally refurbished recently. We were invited for a social gathering and spent a weekend in Vienna at the Clima City Hotel. It is a 38€ taxi ride from the airport. B&B for 2 is 90€ a night which for Vienna is perfectly acceptable. Just... More

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
