Pharmador is a nice, clean hotel, no frills but good value for money. Very good location, close to Mariahilfer strasse, Westbahnhof and the concert hall Wiener Stadthalle, which is why we chose it. Some cool bars and restaurants nearby.

Good price, friendly staff and clean room. The breakfast was briliant, wifi was included, as was free parking in a secure area within the grounds. Public transport was around the corner and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Location, close to Wiener stadhalle - went there for a concert (5 min walking). 20 min walking to historical city center (a must see!). Loved that they have their own parking yard. The staff was also verry kind. Good breakfast and clean room. Would stay again.

Slightly older but clean pension close to the center, ten minutes walk from the Westbahnhof railway and metro station. The reception closes at 10pm - a call number was available for those coming later, but if that's your case, it might be better to announce a late arrival in advance. Free wifi. Very helpful staff.

We went to Vienna for the concert of A.Bocelli. This pension is 10mins walking from Wiener Stadthalle, 5mins walking from subway stop. The staff is very helpful. Rooms are simple (don't expect luxury), comfortable and clean, fully equiped (soap, hairdryer...) and for reasonable price. Car park in the quad.

Nice hotel and it was one of the cheaper ones in Vienna. The location was a bit further out from the center of the city, but it was a few blocks from a sub way stop. However, you will have to transfer to get to the center. The place was very clean and had free parking. The breakfast was also... More

This was our third place to stay on our month long vacation. It is a fairly quiet street but there is still traffic most of the night. The entrance to the parking area is very, very narrow and those driving cars need to be aware that there is little room for error. But once inside, the parking is safe and,... More

PP is located about a 15 min walk from Wien Hauptbahnhof. The receptionist was waiting for us as we arrived around 8pm. He was pleasant and efficient. All the staff was pleasant, helpful and efficient esp. the woman working the reception desk who helped us in arranging our train to Melk Abbey - boat on the Danube back trip. The... More

Quite cheap, and close to public transport and the main shopping district. The room I stayed in was spacious enough for the two nights, and the bathroom was nice and clean. The free parking also comes in very handy. The breakfast is simple, but tasty. I would recommend, and would stay here again.

This city Bed and Breakfast is a good, basic and reasonably priced accommodation in Vienna near easy transportation. The on-line registration process was easy and fast. No signage to the place except the outside sign. Check-in was satisfactory. The main draw for this B&B is free parking. You must ask for it to reserve it because of limited space. A... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
