wombat's - the base is situated just a few minutes away from the westbahnhof. you can reach the citiy center easily within some minutes by underground. the common room is great, you can play billard or table socker there or just sit around (on the sofas etc) and meet other travellers. there's a big bar with a lot of choice... more

This is the best place I had never been to before. Price is good. Young, friendly, helpful receptionist smiling all the times. The room are super secure, clean. Located about a 10 minute walk from Westbahnhof train station. It's not the most central location and not in the nicest part of Vienna but there are 2 underground lines a short walk away so getting to central Vienna is fairly quick and easy.
