Big and comfortable room, kids loved it. Beds were comfortable, bathroom too. We were self catering for breakfast, Billa supermarket is just across the street. Would definitively come here again. Nice neighbourhood, playground for kids and pleasent park is nearby.

We checked in to this hotel for a six nights stay. Checking in was fast. The room is big and comfortable. It can be divided into two parts, bedroom and work area, by a curtain running in the middle of the room. The three-panel curtain, hung from a railing affixed to the ceiling, make it easy to choose whether to... More

Excellent location, walking distance to an underground station and friendly staff. Breakfast with several choices and well served. Cost benefit relation was ok. Tips: The reception staff sells Sightseeing tickets and others, which save a lot of time. Try to have a chat with them before checkout hours and they can give good tourist tips, tourist brochures and a Viena... More

Clean, efficient hotel, large room with free wifi, desk to work and kettle, small gym and an okay breakfast. Downside is lack of other food and room service. Location was out of the main city but close to a Metro and walking distance to Messe conference centre.

Located one block far from Danube River and 100 m from the subway station. Price is good and the Room was very clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked very will and I did not have breakfast at the hotel. Reception attendance was polite, but not friendly. Really recommend if you do not want to stay in Vienna downtown.

We stayed six nights in this suite hotel. Upon check-in, we immediately knew that the room was entirely too hot to remain at the property. I attempted to change locations to the other Novotel property in Vienna and/or acquire a fan for the room, but the desk clerk said there was no air conditioning at the sister property and there... The room with a double bed and two extrabeds is spacious enough for a family. There's a table and a kitchenette with small sink, microwave, water cooker and fridge. Closeby there are supermarkets and small shops that are also open Sundays. More tea available in reception for free. The bathroom-toilet is made of plastic in one piece. It's the type... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
