Good things: location (underground station just opposite the hotel / Linie U4), breakfast (fresh and various), clean rooms; Bad things: very small room and shower cabin, quite basic for the money we paid (120,- EUR for a double), staff not friendly enough; Would not stay here again. more
When I read the previous reviews I was scared that I will end up in the worst hotel ever, but I was surprised the second I entered the reception. It was 5 min till I got to the room (the receptionist spoke English) , the room was very good, and equipped with the necessary things. It was a very clean... more
I went on a "first class" five country tour of Central and Eastern Europe. The accomodations were actually very good in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Germany. I was shocked at the poor accomodations at the Austria Trend Ananas in Vienna. My single room was smaller and dirtier than the youth hostels I stayed at in Amsterdam and Berlin 10... more
I have stayed in many four star hotels and this was not one of them, now i know that a four star in europe is like a 3 star in ireland, but i would just like to point out a few things. The rooms were far too small, one pillow per bed not exceptable, bed were absolutely tiny. There was... more
I've been in this hotel for a week travel in Vienna. I choose this hotel when it was a 4 stars, and now I understand why it was declassified. The first impact was horrible, the staff at the reception didn't spoke a decent english as not as my native language (italian). The rest was even worse: the rooms are very... more
Service is really quite bad here at the reception desk. 1) There are no tea and coffee making facilities. Even on request, they do not provide a kettle to boil water for baby food. If you have a baby, you have to go to the bar to get boiled water. For a 4 star hotel, this is really strange. 2)... more
Location Fair since is close to an underground station (PillgramGasse) Clean but dont wait clean sheets every day nor clean towels i doubt they change them. Service Terrible !!!! we `ve been 2 times in the hotel`s restaurant and it took 1,5 hour to be served . Also in the Hotels cafe their is no service and any kind of... more
One of our group had put US currency in her room safe. When she went to take it out, the money was gone. The reception is staffed mostly by the very young and inexperienced and often rude, who were unable or unwilling to help her. The saddest part of this is when she finally convinced someone to call the police... more
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a great location. Right outside the front door leads you to the subway station which can get you all over the city. I would say this is the best reason to stay here. The room was modest, but clean. The lobby and other areas of the hotel were very smokey. I... more
