We were in Pension Residenz 20-22 december. Clean rooms, large bathroom, good breakfast. The Chriskindlmarkt is 5 minutes walking distance. Also many the other sightseeing highlights. For 32 euro's the taxi takes you from the airport to the hotel. A great value for money deal. Guus van Dee more

Pension residenz is a small hotel in the inner city of vienna. It's a lovely place, rooms are clean and well cared. Bathroom is with shower, enough space, but it shouldn't be smaller. Staff is helpful and always friendly, you feel welcomed. Prices are fair for that location. All in all a good place to stay. more

Pension Residenz is a lovely, well located little guesthouse close to the city hall. Our room was spacious and lovely decorated with antique furniture. The bathroom was small but clean. The stuff is very nice and helpfull, the atmosphere familiar and relaxed. All in all a nice experience I can warmly recommend to budget travellers. more

We had a very pleasant experience with the Pension Residenz. Mr. Hans was very cooperative and accommodating. The location is good, 5 mins walk to the metro. We had booked 2 rooms for us and a friend. Our friend's flight got cancelled on the day we were to arrive and Hans was kind enough not to charge for that night.... more

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Pension Residenz. The room was very clean and spacious. Hans, the owner, is very friendly and can answer any quesiton you could possibly come up with. Breakfast consists of coffee, tea, juice, cheese, ham, cereal, rolls, butter, jelly. more

We were two couples staying in this hotel for 4 nights. It is old but very nice and clean and the rooms are very big and decorated in old traditional style but it adds to the nice timely feeling of the beautiful city. The owner is very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this hotel for the budget traveller. more

Recommed to any budget traveller. The room is clear and ok. Have internet in the common area and it is free. The staff is friendly. Expect difficult to find in the first time; but it is near to University and the main underground station; once you find it, you like the location; it is quite and accessible. more

The hotel is on the second floor of a lovely old building, about a 3 minute walk from Rathaus station, or a lovely 10-15 minute stroll into the centre of town.
