This hotel is a little on the faded side but has lovely charming rooms, helpful staff and is located right off the main square (the Graben). Great value. more

Fantastic! This hotel somehow achieves a wonderful city-center location combined with a quiet and relaxed environment. The rooms are grandiose and old-world, but for a small and reasonable price. I was so pleasantly surprised with our truly beautiful room. We enjoyed the satisfying breakfast, the free internet in the lobby, and easy/free parking directly under the hotel. A wonderful find... more

Our first time in Vienna at thisPension was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. The rooms were very clean and the breakfasts, which were included in the cost were great. There was a computer with internet access in the common area for guests to use. The Staff was very helpful with directions, side trips... more

For nearly $300 Canadian this hotel is certainly not what it seems once to have been. Certainly NOT a 4 star hotel. Musty, noisy, shabby, limited breakfast. The only good thing about it was the location. Defintely would NOT recommend this one. more

Super spot beside everything. Our twin room was narrow but you have to allow that the rooms in this former palace are going to vary in size. With so much to explore on your doorstep the amount of TV channels be they German language or English is immaterial - 2 minutes to Augustinkirche where 11am Sunday mass has orchestra, choir... more

Sithin 2 mins of St Michael's, Spanish Riding School, and Vienna's principal shopping streets, a little further to St Stephen's and Staatsoper. Great value, rooms 401 and 402 large, clean, if somewhat old fashioned, and allowed for limited self catering. Great breakfast, meats, cheeses, eggs, fruit etc, can easily stock up for the day if you decide to forego what... more

This was my first trip to Europe alone (I had a business meeting and decided to stay some extra days to explore the city). I loved the hotel. It was very cute, clean, and the location was absolutely perfect! Everything was in walking distance, the hotel staff was very accomodating and the room was perfect for what I needed. There... more

We stayed at Pension Pertschy for four nights from 4th December, 2008 on the recommendation of friends. We booked two double rooms and were given adjoining rooms on the same floor as Reception/Dining etc. Our room (No. 118) was enormous with two windows looking out on to the central courtyard; bathroom was equally big with a bath/shower, double sinks, bidet... more

I've stayed here twice. It's not like a normal hotel: it's more several floors in a palace that've been converted. Thus some people may be put off by having to walk up a separate flight of steps or around an outside gallery to get to their rooms but you are staying in a historical building after all. Location is just... more

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our three night stay at Pension Pertschy over the past weekend. I arrived early, but the people at the front desk really went out of their way to get my room ready for me. The room was big and quiet. And, as all of the other reviewers have noted, the location is fantastic.... more
