The Aviano's location can't be beat. It is right inbetween all of the major sights. For this reason alone, I would highly recommend it. But don't expect an elegant, upscale hotel. We loved our first stay in Vienna - we'd love to come back again and we'd stay here again, hoping that constriction's over. The noise was very annoying in the morning, luckily it wasn't hot and we were able to close our windows. Otherwise, everything was awesome! The staff is wonderful, so helpful and friendly. I stayed here during my 3 days in Vienna. Fantastic location and an overall excellent place. The staff (Bianca, Clarice, and others) were extremely helpful. They were able to answer all my questions, book tours and had great recommendations for sights to see. I would definitely stay here again. more

I walked in the room and said, "Wow! This is so pretty!" The rooms are gorgeous. Unfortunately there was construction going on, but the hotel put ear plugs on the bed which worked for me! I agree with all the other reviews about the nice rooms, great service and brilliant location for visiting Vienna. But: if you are due to go imminently be warned that there is major building work taking place which starts at 6am and on occasions goes through the night.
