The Pension is in a beautiful old building in the centre of Vienna. The location is ideal as you can see all the sights on foot, or take the nearby underground. There is parking under the square it is on and you get a discount through the hotel. Our std double room was quite compact, as was the shower room,... More

Pension is a beautiful old building close to the old city. Extremely friendly staff with really pretty little breakfast area and lovely quiet bright rooms. For a short break costing approximately 163 euros with breakfast per person for a 3 night stay you really can't go wrong. Fantastic. Highly recommended

Easy walk from CAT Landstrasse Bahnhof, comfortable walk to Stefansdom, even with our 8 year old in tow and a busy sight seeing schedule over 3 days we managed everything on foot or public transport. The location on the 4th floor of a beautifully preserved baroque building opposite Otto Wagner's Postsavings Bank Building is food for the soul. You can... More

The accommodation is very well situated for seeing the old city. Everything is in very good proximity. Accommodation is neat and reception professional. Only negative was the pillows but that is not the most serious issue.

It has all the basics you need. Well priced. Located near all the attractions and transport, trams, tour busses, city busses and underground. Easy to find. Have to ask for extra pillow, as they are very soft

The location is good - while there is little directly outside your door, the Pension is strategically located within walking distance of many attractions and you can easily hop on and off trams and subways. The rooms are basic and feel a little like staying in a friend's apartment. Not quite a college friend but not quite an adult either.... More

We booked for two nights and left in a hurry after the first night. We moved to a far better hotel in the middle of the city and even paid less! Even if you are only looking for a bed for the night, please just look elsewhere. If this was a 50-euro-per-night hotel in Vienna, I'd say, you get what... More

I stayed here twice in 2011 and found it very good value for a decent room in such a central location. The electronic access system worked fine and staff were helpful. This is a small pension in a historical building, so do not expect too much luxury. Nevertheless, I enjoyed both stays here.

This pension was not only gorgeous, but in a perfect location with a wonderful staff, especially Dushaun. The price was exceptional for the location in Vienna. From the front door and foyer, to the grand building and room, we were not disappointed. I would recommend this property to everyone and definetely use it again when I return to Vienna. We... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
