Right in the heart of Vienna. Well located for all amenities and key sites . Billa supermarket and eaterie located in basement was an unexpected bonus and very handy for snacks and lunchtime food. Staff friendly and very helpful. Walls were thin so heard conversation and TV from adjacent rooms but earplugs soon sorted that out. Good breakfast choice with... More

The building is old and houses a dentist office as well as a small grocery store on the bottom floor. You check in on the 2nd floor, via the elevator. Be clear when reserving your room that you want an actual shower or bathtub. We had to change rooms as we really needed the shower. Breakfast was included each day... More

This pension is in a very good location about 500 meters from Hofburg. There's also Stephansplatz U-bahn station close by. The staff were very corteous and friendly. The room was clean and neat and everything seemed to be in a good condition expect the window frames would need some renovation. I had a room with own bathroom which was practical.... More

Location is just in the heart of city. I can't imagine a better location for tourists. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly (and smiling; in a city like Vienna it is important. One of them was an Italian girl which may be the cause of such normal attitude). Rooms were Ok and clean. You need to go 2 floors... More

Very good value. If you're looking for something that's easy in the hip pocket then this place is the go. Our room didn't have a toilet but that was okay. Everything else was great. Don't get me wrong, it's not H!lton but it compensates in location and cost. Breakfast was basic but worked. The staff were fantastic and fluent in... More

Dead center in the heart of commercial and historic Vienna. Rooms were not elaborate, but were clean and completely satisfactory. Other than sleeping, why would you be in your room anyway when you have all of Vienna at your finger tips. Rate for room is fair, and the breakfast was perfectly fine. I was worried when booking as it said... More

A fantastic location in Vienna centre. The Stephansdom is just around the corner to the right. The pedestrian streets of Graben and Kärtner Strasse are your closest neighbours. Restaurants, cafés and confectionery are close by, not to forget several of the historic buildings, museums, concert and dancing halls within walking distance. Our room was not big but still had space... More

I will stay here again. Location is excellent, right in the heart of Vienna. I stayed here with my daughter in the Summer. Staff was friendly and helpful. We felt safe. The included breakfast was a nice touch. When I travel for business I stay at chain hotels that are great, but they are the same in every country and... More

The hotel is in a perfect location, situated in the heart of Vienna just a min by foot to Stephansdom, easily reached by Metro. Most attractions can be reached on foot. Pleasant hospitality and great prices. Absolute value for money. Booked a triple bed for family and everyone loved it.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
