Location of the Hôtel : Perfect, right in the city centre. In the exact middle of the touristic zone. Room : We had rooms 30 and 34. Both ok, room 30 is very small though. Everything is very clean,as expected in Austria. One very displeasing thing was that the rooms had à view into a very small courtyard and that light... More

This place has some pluses: 1. Great fantastic location. 2. Free WiFi. 3. Friendly stuff. 4. Free breakfast. 5. Reasonable price. However, there are some minuses: 1. No air conditioning. If you try to open window, you cannot sleep because of noisy street. 2. Sometimes there are no enough tables for breakfast, so you have to wait. Since location is... More

A Superb location and amazing staff! Staying in this hotel on our short stay in Vienna was in great value for us, almost everything is on walking distance and Stephansplatz subway station is a 1 min walk from the hotel. Our only problem was that there was a strong heatwave at that time and there were no ACs in the... More

The staff are multilingual, very accommodating, and happy to help you better explore Vienna. The rooms are clean and neat, if outdated. However, the mattresses are very comfortable and new. The breakfast is full of variety and can be satisfyingly vegetarian friendly. The coffee is surprisingly excellent.

The hotel is located in the center of the city so it is a bit noisy at night. The room is small and most importantly it has no aur conditioning . The hotel is clean. This is ok for an overnight stay except during the summer

It is a brilliant location, I don't think you could get better. There a loads of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Also very handy having a good supermarket just underneath the hotel. The staff are very helpful with getting directions and tips. The breakfast was just average. It was hot at night in the room and made it difficult to... More

From the outside, this hotel appears charming. My husband and I stayed two nights in the hotel. It was very hot outside and the only relief from the heat was a very small mobile fan. We had to sleep with the windows open. We have slept in many hotels with the windows open, but the noise outside the hotel was... More

Located 5 mins walk from Utrain stop. Asked a local for direction and was there. Need to buzz desk to get in building, then you get your own key to open the large metal door on the street. They have 2 floors in middle of larger very old building. Elevator is ancient yet very neat, in the middle of the... More

Usually pensions are more personal than hotels, but this place did nothing extra to make you feel like more than just another guest. The location was perfect, couldn't ask for any better, that being said, it's very noisy outside at night, which was a problem because there's no A/C and the room was on the 4th floor so windows open... My wife and I stayed at this charming Pension for seven nights, celebrating my birthday in beautiful romantic Vienna. As an elderly couple, we looked for a hotel in the centre of the old city. We looked in Tripadvisor recommendations and we decided to choose this Pension. We also Invited a hotel's transportation from the airport. The first day opened bad.... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
