Ok place that I would recommend for the price. Rooms are good, not too modern but neither too old. The best thing is the excellent location, 5 minutes walk to the metro stop and 15 to the city centre. The Spar and Pharmacy next to it came in handy. Breakfast is also good. What bothered me is that it had... More

My friend and I stayed there last week for 6 days. The location is quite good. You can take bus 1185 from Vienna airport to Wien Morzinplatz, then walk around 15 mins to the hotel. There are underground station, tram and shops nearby the hotel as well. The hotel was super clean and provided hair dryer. They changed the towel,... More

1. Air conditioning : not available 2. fan : might be depending upon the availability 3. Location : good 4. Staff : friendly We ended up canceling the hotel and paying up $75 as cancellation fee, but to survive in 85 F, you need to have some sort of air conditioning :(

Can't put in words how upset I was when I got to this "hotel". After a long day of traveling from Salzburg. I get to this awfully depressing hotel, check in, walk into my room and it is BOILING hot. Minimum 40 degrees. No air condition. The room was extremely basic and there was a bit of garbage left on... More

This is a very basic hotel. Do not expect fancy furniture or a modern environment. The room was also very hot in the middle of summer. Luckily the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The rooms were also very clean and the staff was really friendly.

We had two rooms at this hotel, what a dire place. Unhelpful, unfriendly and clueless staff, very hot rooms, no fans available for the first and second nights, dirty rooms, the bathrooms were not cleaned during our entire stay, one of the bathrooms was infested with ants, the rooms were never vacuumed, the towels were changed and that was about... Dear Veronica, thank you for your feedback. I am very sad to read that your stay at our AllYouNeed Hotel Vienna2 did not meet your expectations and that the unsusual heat wave, that we currently experience, made your stay uncomfortable. It is surprising for me to read that the girls at reception were not able to help you. I kindly... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
