Stayed here for 5 days with family and it was brilliant. Our stay included breakfast and the food selection was large and tasty. The staff are so friendly, the room was super clean and the hotel was phenomenal, 100% worth the money. Would stay again.

Great, clean hotel with good breakfast. In the historical centre, but hidden away on the side road. Everything is short walk away. Easy to get to from airport and central train station. Loved it!!! 😉 Will stay again. Xx

Nice start to our vacation. Hotel is located off the street, but not at all hard to find. We reserved a "triple" which consisted of one twin to the side and two twins together that made a "king" bed. Room was very clean. Hotel was quaint, personnel were very courteous and friendly. Best free breakfast buffet of the hotels we... More

Hotel was nice, smaller room, by nice by European Standards. Asked the female desk clerk to confirm a taxi ride to airport, she was very rude and would not help confirm the taxi ride I set up WITH the hotel. We were concerned about missing our flight, she was not help at all, never have been treated like this befor.

The location within old town but away from the bustle cannot be beat. The disadvantage to the hotel is if you are driving a car, but we weren't-there is no appropriate place to park or leave a car. The entrance is down a very narrow allyway-like street which provides a great deal of relief from traffic and noise. You can... More

There is no doubt the staff at Hotel Austria go out of their way to be helpful with tips, suggestions, and directions. Be sure to ask for restaurant, cafe, and various other ideas as they are wonderful at pointing you to the right places. We went to Pfudl on the suggestion of the front desk and it was really good... This hotel was a great find. It is inside the Ringstrasse and a short walk to everything including St. Stepehplatz, Judenplatz, the Opera and the Hoffburg, It is conveniently locted near the Schwedenplatz Uban station, the Luciano Zanoni Gelateria in one direction and the Gelateria Castelletto in the other direction if you want to stroll down the street for some... We arrived 5 days prior to joining a tour group which had rooms booked at this hotel. I made arrangements to check-in 5 days earlier and this was done over the Internet. My email questions were answered promptly, courteously. On early arrival, we were accommodated quickly and placed in a quiet, clean inner room. The reception desk staff was always... More

This isn't a cheap hotel, but we found it to be worth the price! The location is excellent for walking around the city, and the complementary breakfast is wonderful! We used the laundry facilities which pulled off a minor miracle by making my son's button down shirt look presentable. The desk clerks were helpful, friendly, and of course spoke excellent... More

We stayed in a twin bedded room - and had the bonus of it having an extra room - which we used as a lounge area. The bedroom was smallish (it was the one in the hotel photo's) but with the bonus of the extra sitting room it was more than fine - We looked over the front entrance. The... More
