Spent 4 days at Hotel Austria with my wife in April. Very safe location, walk to everything, near restaurants, bars, sightseeing and metro. We arrived in Vienna at the train station south of the town center and were able to take the metro to the stop just one block from the hotel. Hotel very clean and well kept. Room spotless.... More

The room was small, but you get what you pay for with a single room. Funny enough, the bathroom was nearly as large as the bedroom. Internet worked well and there was a nice min-bar in the room at reasonable prices. The central location is perfect; breakfast was just okay, but was included in the rate, so again, you get... More

The hotel is located in a small cul de sac, and is very quiet. The rooms are very standard, but its well maintained and nicely appointed. Schwedenplatz station is only about 400m away, and Stephenplatz is only 400m away in the other direction. It's reasonably priced and a very good variety buffet breakfast is included.

My family had a wonderful holiday with the Hotel Austria as our base - it is in a central location, walkable to the Stephenplatz and on the main tube line, with a delicious breakfast spread, comfortable rooms and a cozy atmosphere. Staff are universally knowledgeable, delightful and speak excellent English. Highly recommended.

Stayed two nights here for a conference. The welcome was friendly and although I booked a single room I was given a very large double with plenty of space, high ceilings, bath and shower and free wifi which was fast enough to stream Netflix . Impressed! It was only 2 mins walk to underground and 5 mins to Stephansplatz. Would... More

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect for what we needed (a twin comfort room). The hotel was very clean and had a nice atmosphere to it. Our room was very clean and nicely presented. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel buffet breakfast was lovely. Very well... More

This is quite a little gem right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance of many useful or attractive places but hopeless to access by car. Just a few minutes' walk from Schwedenplatz underground station, and the city end of the airport bus (Vienna Airport-lines). The room was quite cosy, and well serviced, although the creaky floorboards... More

I cannot begin to say enough good things about this lovely gem in the center of Vienna, where I stayed for a week in early November. Starting with the location at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac , you are a 5-minute walk from the main square, cathedral and major pedestrian streets in one direction, and a 3-minute walk... More

The four us found Hotel Austria and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were fantastic, the staff couldn't have been of more help and the location was perfect. Lots of shopping, dinning and entertainment in the immediate area. Yes, we walked quite a bit, but we "were" shopping after all. The staffed arranged local tours, recommended "only" Trip Advisor restaurants... More
