A friendly hotel with a homely feel. Nice rooms and great location - 5 minute walk from airport bus stop. Rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated - hotel itself is in a quiet side street. Great breakfast and excellent value for money overall. I have stayed there 3 times, and will return again on my next trip to Vienna.... More

Very nice hotel in a great location. A little hard to find as it is on an alley off the main street but that adds to charm. Really nice and helpful staff. Breakfast is excellent and includes things like blue cheese not often found in B&B breakfasts. The parking is somewhat complicated but everything you need is within walking distance.... More

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in Hotel Austria. We like the room we were in initially, on the 4th floor - it had lots of light, chairs and a couch. Be we had to switch since cigarette smoke filtered into the room from somewhere else. We were upgraded to a larger room which was also quite comfortable. Both rooms... More

Spent 4 days at Hotel Austria with my wife in April. Very safe location, walk to everything, near restaurants, bars, sightseeing and metro. We arrived in Vienna at the train station south of the town center and were able to take the metro to the stop just one block from the hotel. Hotel very clean and well kept. Room spotless.... More

The room was small, but you get what you pay for with a single room. Funny enough, the bathroom was nearly as large as the bedroom. Internet worked well and there was a nice min-bar in the room at reasonable prices. The central location is perfect; breakfast was just okay, but was included in the rate, so again, you get... More

The hotel is located in a small cul de sac, and is very quiet. The rooms are very standard, but its well maintained and nicely appointed. Schwedenplatz station is only about 400m away, and Stephenplatz is only 400m away in the other direction. It's reasonably priced and a very good variety buffet breakfast is included.

My family had a wonderful holiday with the Hotel Austria as our base - it is in a central location, walkable to the Stephenplatz and on the main tube line, with a delicious breakfast spread, comfortable rooms and a cozy atmosphere. Staff are universally knowledgeable, delightful and speak excellent English. Highly recommended.

Stayed two nights here for a conference. The welcome was friendly and although I booked a single room I was given a very large double with plenty of space, high ceilings, bath and shower and free wifi which was fast enough to stream Netflix . Impressed! It was only 2 mins walk to underground and 5 mins to Stephansplatz. Would... More
