Booked this hotel as part of a surprise trip for my girlfriend's birthday. I was given a really nice room with a great view, as I'd requested. Also got a complimentary 1/2 bottle of champagne. Can't say enough things about this hotel. Among others: great location (we walked everywhere); friendly and accommodating staff; clean room with big comfortable bed; great... More

The room was big clean and comfortable if a little too warm. The bathroom was small, but perfectly formed. It was clean and toiletries were replenished each day. The Superking size bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was very good with a big choice fresh fruit yoghurt pastries meats cheese cereals and hot bacon tomatoes etc. (don't expect... Location : totally ok (for our plans). Clean room, there were no disturbing noises, we could sleep well. Also we got mineral waters for free upon arrival. And yes, the breakfast is magical :) Amazing choice, and very helpful breakfast staff.

Very welcoming, clean everywhere. Large room with extremely comfortable queen size bed, soft sheets and great pillows. Adequate bathroom with toiletries supplied, decent shower over bath. Room was warm but we left the window open (5th floor) which made it pleasant to sleep. Breakfast was more than acceptable, fruit, cereals, yogurt, pastries, small choice of fried food plus more. A... The hotel was clean and comfortable. Very good buffet breakfast, but limited bar and restaurant facilities. Many good restaurants in the area. Our room was on the 4th floor, backside and was quiet. The room was medium sized and comfortable. Wi-Fi was included at no charge.

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
