The three of us stayed here in April, and the hotel was everything we could of asked for. The room we had was excellent, big enough for three of us and immaculately clean (room 517). The hotel itself is in a great position, we all loved how it was on a quiet street, making our stay at the hotel very... More

Excellent and efficient service from the reception staff. Very helpful and friendly waitresses and a great buffet breakfast. Nice gesture from hotel as they provided complementary tea and coffee in my room and bottled water on my first night stay.

Very good hotel, close to metro station, in a upper class neighborhood, in a quiet street. Rich breakfast with lot of alternatives. Clean and comfortable room. Highly recommended to stay in Vienna. Close to museum and theatres an tram station.

Great location, near the Museum Quarter, handy for public transport but within walking distance of the centre (20 mins). Spacious, well-equipped rooms - which room-service keeps spotless. Quiet. Fantastic breakfast selection - your coffee-cup will never be empty. Very friendly, helpful waitresses. Minibar very reasonable (!) Spittalberg area is interesting with lots of restaurants and cafes. And, to top it... More

Bedroom a reasonable size and really comfortable and a beautiful bathroom. It did tend to get too warm in the room at night as the heating comes on autonmatically depending on the temperature outside,... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
