Very comfortable. Perfect location on a quiet street one block off the Museum quarter. In the heart of Spittleberg section of town which is clean, upscale and filled with many great restaurants and cafes. Small hotel with local flavor but also very modern touches. Good air conditioning which in summer was very important. rooms clean, modern comfortable, great mattress and... More

We stayed in the k & for four nights in July. The hotel was perfectly adequate but nothing special. I don't think it helped when we received a room which the windows went straight onto a wall, there was no view and very little natural light. This was taken into account in my rating which was personal to my stay.... More

We were given a room on the 5th floor with a lovely view of the rooftops of Vienna. It was nice and quiet, apart from the works nearby (hard to tell whether this came from inside or outside the hotel) that including sporadic drilling and hammering during the day. The room was large and well laid out with ample storage... More

We really enjoyed the location of this hotel. The room itself was acceptable for 4-star hotel without any extras. We are used to a little bit more up to date and high tech rooms for this class but it was ok. We really enjoyed the breakfast- that was definitely the best part of this hotel.

When we booked this hotel for a quick trip to Vienna, there was a special deal on. We paid for three nights, got four, were upgraded to an executive double room and had free bottles of water in the room every day. An extensive buffet breakfast was also included in the deal. There was free WIFI but I understand that... More

We booked a room at KK Maria Theresia after having read all the great reviews on Trip Advisor - and were deeply disappointed. The staff are just about polite but could not care less (with the exception maybe of Ximena, at breakfast, who was friendly and helpful). The room was very dark, with a single tiny window overlooking a small... More

We had booked this hotel because it was ideally situated, but also because it had great reviews on TripAdvisors. Well, we were really disappointing, and I do not understand those reviews. We had a quite small room with a small window which didn't let much light in, even in the middle of the day. The wifi, when it actually worked,... More

Well appointed, modern. Room was comfortable, well sized. (Only issue was scarcity of electrical outlets) Very helpful staff, in depth knowledge of off the normal path info. Great location, behind the Museums Quartier off the Ring. Nice breakfast. Wifi was OK for work (not fast enough for Netflix)

I have recently returned from another short stay in Vienna with my family and K+K Hotel Maria Theresia and its team did it again! Every time I have stayed here I have always felt welcome and appreciated, rooms are spotlessly clean, staff polite and attentive and their breakfast just hits the sweet spot! Long serving hours, excellent quality of assortment,... More

Very clean and comfortable hotel in the museum quarter. The room was average size with a decent bathroom and very quiet at night. The breakfast was excellent and included sparkling wine if you fancy starting your day with a treat! Would definitely stay at this hotel again when returning to Vienna.

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
