I have deceived being in this hotel. When i booked it, I was informed that the breakfast is included. Really not happend after that. More than this - more expensive room has been pushed to me! And of course the staff adviced me to pay for the breakfast. Never will stay at this hotel any more!

The InterCity Hotel Vienna is right on the Marianhilfer Strasse, which gets you straight to the centre of the city. Rooms are clean with WIFI and with nice bathroom also. And they have a great breakfast as well!

This hotel is well out of the centre of Vienna. To mitigate for this the hotel does offer a free underground ticket however, when we asked, we were told it was not included in our rate. We found the bar very expensive Breakfast was limited.

Hotel is not 'luxury' but has all that one needs for a stay in Vienna. Comfortable rooms with tea/coffee facilities. Well located within easy walk of underground. When we were there the hotel provided as part of our stay a free transfer pass for public transport (which in Vienna is very efficient and easy to use). Good breakfast and helpful... More

Hotel was very well located near the railway station and underground. I would say it is a practical hotel - not a hotel of character and charm but for a large city it has what you need on a budget. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were very helpful.

We had a Etihad Traveler package, where we went upstairs to eat our 3 meals per day for free (part of the package deal). The meals were small the way we wanted it and tasty & nutritious. We were in the centre of the city and we walked everywhere. The museums were fantastic and the downstairs cafe had the BEST... More

I was unhappy with hotel managment. Other things are good. We had an issue with our friends reservation due to managment missunderstandings. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is very good also. Thanks

The location is wonderful. close to the westbanhof, shopping and restaurants. The rooms were just ok. I don't know what room the picture is of, but it wasn't mine. I was a business traveler who prefers a single, king bed in my room, but i wasn't able to get this. They put me in a room with two single beds... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
