Stayed in this hotel during Euro 2008, after our tour company switched hotels twice before settling on this one. My first nonsmoking room was quite shabby, dirty, stained carpets and reeked of smoke. I stayed four days in 2004 at this hotel and i found the location to be great for people who want to have easy access to transportation to the main Vienna attractions like Schonbrun Castle, Ring road near Stephensplatz and the shopping area in Marianhilstrasse which is a few minutes walk from the hotel. Situated near the WestBanhof rail station, south-west side of Vienna. Doesn't have much going it's way. Area is undesirable, hotel is plain and utilitarian, rooms are likewise and small, service and staff are mediocre. Mattress was reasonably comfortable. If this has the last available room in Vienna, then it would do. Otherwise, suggest you explore alternatives. more
