The hotel is located near to Mariahilferstrasse. The very noisy rooms even though we were to that we received a better upgraded room. The windows were not phonic isolated. The bathroom was very small and different from the pictures on the site. In reality is not a 4 star hotel, rather a 3 star hotel. Very expensive for the services... More

The staff and location of Hotel ViennArt were great! We enjoyed our time at this hotel and would stay here again if we returned to Vienna. The comfort of the room was great. It had everything we wanted, WiFi (free), a lovely Tub, Soundproof room, comfortable bed, and a friendly staff. I would recommend this location.

The Viennart is in a great location in the Museum Quarter of Vienna. The hotel may not be 5 star, but the location near the museums, markets, Hofberg Palace and the center of Vienna makes it a old place to be. The staff were great, the rooms ok, but the walls in our room were thin. Christmas morning breakfast left... More

Very well situated with great walking access to many sites and transport. The rooms are OK. Warm and functional but without charm. Single rooms only have showers despite having notes in various places as having possible bath option (just a note). Staff are polite but without showing any effort to go beyond the basics.

Comfortable bed. Tick. Good shower. Tick. Decent room. Tick. Central. Tick. But somehow it lacked a soul epitomised by a rather charmless cramped reception desk and do get stairwell. Perfectly functional but lacking charm. PS great breakfast at middle eastern cafe/restaurant 5 minutes away up siebensternstrasse near the 7 Stern pub.

Really handy for the historic centre, easy walking distance to all the main visitor attractions and nearby tube station for going further afield. Bar and restaurants close at hand. It would benefit from a bar in the hotel to have a nightcap to warm up after seeing the sights.

We visited in December for the xmas markets and central vienna sites. This hotel is perfectly situated for both. A short walk from many of the central vienna markets and museums, and just 3 minutes from an underground station to take you further afield. The hotel is a mixed bag. TV is flat screen with satellite channels, but only english... More

The hotel's location is excellent, 2 minutes away from the Volkstheater metro station and in walking distance from almost every place you will have to visit in Vienna. The room was very clean and warm with all the amenities and clean towels every day! The staff was very helpful and eager to answer all the information we asked them for.... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
