We chose this hotel for it's location and value. The hotel is located above Neubaugasse metro station, great for travel around Vienna. The hotel reception staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size and clean (and cleaned every day to a good standard) I would certainly this recommend this hotel and would stay again

we came here for my birthday. I am glad we chose this hotel. It is in the middle of the city, near to many attractions including museum square, shopping, opera, and so on. The hotel is very cosy, clean, and has friendly stuff. They provide help whenever you need it. If I ever visit Wien I would choose the same... More

That was a great staying, we enjoyed the hotel, the location is excellent, a lot of restaurants and shops, with parking! The rooms was good. We didn't order breakfast, there is alot of places where you can eat one and it ill be much cheaper than the hotel

I was in Vienna for the marathon and we chose this hotel because we accidentally thought this one was the one next to the start line (funny story). But it turned out to be pretty good after all. Seeing these photos you might think it looks bad! My room for example looked very well. New furniture, very clean and not... More

The lobby was very dirty and smelly. The carpet was full of stains!!! The room was clean and ok. It was super easy to go back and forth to the center with Ubahn. However, I know of hotels in the center with lower prices. Next time I will go to those hotels.

NH Wien City is located reasonably close to the city centre, the U3 Neubaugasse station is literally on the doorstep on the Mariahilferstrasse side. It is also very conveniently situated for shops and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious indeed and comfortable. Didn't take the breakfasts so can't comment. Very happy with the hotel and the staff, excellent value for... More

Good hotel. Good locatization, the subway is almost inside The hotel, but not in The city centre. There aren't Manuel options of restaurants and stores BestBuy. The room is big and the breaksfast is good.

The hotel location is perfect - commercial Mariahilfer str., MuseumsQuartier, the metro station is just nearby. The rooms are quiet and clean. We stayed here three nights without breakfast but there are a lot of cafes where you can have a breakfast (e.g.leaving the hotel from the side of Mariahilfer str. there is Strock bakery - excellent choice for breakfast).

We stayed at the NH hotel in central Vienna over easter 2015. The entrance of the hotel is a bit hidden, as it is located more at the back of the appartmentblock. However, it is conveniently located next to the U-Bahn station Neubaugasse (within 10 minutes you can reach the Stephansplatz/old city centre), the shopping mile Mariahilfer Strasse and the... More

Hotel personnel is very friendly. Location of the hotel is very nice (metro very close to hotel as well as city center about 20 min walking) The bad stuff about this hotel is that looks very cheap, room floor is very old and on some parts damaged. Furniture looks also pretty old. Advertisement that hotel is offering free WiFi is... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
