The hotel is ok for one or max two nights, but any longer stay can become a burden. The rooms are just ok. I find it's a shame they look much better on the hotel web page. The rooms on some floors are renovated (that is only the bathrooms - & they are ok), but the whole feel of the... More

I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Boltzmann. I was overwhelmed by how accommodating the staff were, I had a great room with a view and the breakfasts were great value, having endless options to choose from.

Very nice, old fashioned hotel in a good location, even though it is not right at the centre, it is close to some shops and also to public transportation - which works very well in Vienna, by the way! The room was nice, the bed comfortable and it was clean. Nice staff and good breakfast.

We had a pleasant stay here. Our room was spacious and the bathroom even had a rainforest shower. Breakfast was very good. Tram is very close and metro can be reached by tram in 5 minutes. I would go here again.

The hotel is a bit dated, but still OK. Rooms are clean, but sometimes noisy. Beds are comfortable. The elevator is small and you can wait a lot for it. Price are good for Vienna and around the hotel you can find a few shops, cafes etc., but you have to walk 20 minutes to reach the actual centre. It... More

Nice hotel with very friendly staff, the location is also very good, quite and near to the center. The only minus point is the small elevator, it fits only 2 adults at a time. When next time in Vienna, we will choose this hotel again.

Hotel it's actually in relatively quiet street, but the isolation in their rooms is lacking. My room was next to the elevator and after 6am there was no chance of sleeping. Similarly the guest upstairs taking a shower felt like being in the same room with me. Breakfast is a bit disappointing, forget about a good espresso, cheese or fruit.... More

Stayed here at the start of an organized tour. My room was just average. Carpet old and shabby. Linens worn out. My roomate told me some of the rooms on upper floors are better. She had been made to check out of when when it came time to start the tour. Breakfast was OK, nothing special.

This is a good hotel a 10 minute walk from the University (useful as I was attending a conference there). There are tram lines very close to the hotel so travel to the centrer of Vienna and tourist areas is convenient. The staff and helpfull and freindly, even offering me a umbrella one rainy morning. Rooms are clean and comfy,... More

Nothing special about this hotel. The staff was generally friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent, room (superior double) was clean. It was a little bit noisy (walls are thin), but I've had worse. My only BIG problem is that the water flow in the shower was ridiculously low (I hate low flow!!), but this is the case in many European... More

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighborhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighborhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
