Reception was kind and cordial. Room was big, new and very clean (2 televisors, frigobox.....) Hotel is situated 300 meters from the "Ring". Breakfast was plentiful and tasteful. There is the room for the luggage at the reception.... I would like to find more often hotels like this! more

The Starlight is a non-descript hotel in a great location (one block from the U and near Vienna Centre). It has really professional and helpful staff with nice rooms (I had a suite). This hotel has almost all advantages you could think of for a visit to Vienna. It is well located, just at the periphery of the city centre, slightly outside of the Ring. This hotel was pleasantly modern and comfortable and the suite was very large. I know it is not the custom for kettles in hotel rooms in Austria, so I did get a laugh out of the instructions on making tea in the microwave. The room was very warm though, I did have to have the windows open the entire stay.... more
