Nondescript from outside but wonderful inside. There were some renovations going on but even that did not impinge on our stay. There was an airport bus that stopped a five minute walk from the hotel (even with baggage in-tow). The area is great for walking with many sights including that amazing Hoher Mrkt clock under fifteen minutes' walk. Alexandra at... More

We came to Vienna for 3 nights while "on break from" a Budapest vacation. The budapest hotel was great (Bohem Art Hotel) so we knew nothing can beat that. However, this hotel was good as well. Location is I guess good, near a LOT of bars and restaurants, but a few minutes walk from a U-Bahn station. Bed is not... More

Located in the first Bezirk it is just a few minutes walk to Stefansdom and tbe central attractions of downtown Vienna. The suites consist of two rather big rooms and a spacious bathroom. Great value when travelling with kids, as we did. Even two TVs to minimize that possible trouble and very good WiFi coverage. Cozy breakfast room and high... More

I stayed at the Starlight Suites with my daughters in October. The rooms were at the very top of the building and had large windows that opened to let in a breeze. Each suite had 2 rooms and a bathroom and were very comfortable and clean. The receptionists were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. The hotel is... More

Came to Vienna on business and was booked into Starlight Suites, primarily for the location. I cannot comment on price/value as I don't know how much it cost. The suite, however, was large, comfortable and was perfect for what was needed. By far the best thing about our experience was the service provided by the reception staff (Gabi in particular).... Located in a central position, good comfortable room and it was clean and modern. Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Good facilities in the room and plenty of space. Lots of choice at the breakfast buffet.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
