During reservation and at checkin again I asked for a room on the back side of the hotel. Staff still gave me a front room, without explanations or excuses. You have to know that the hotel is located at a very busy road with noise 24/7 and windows are not well isolated. I am a fan of modern, well designed... More

The only interesting thing about this hotel is the proximity to the Donauspital (hospital), under stressful circumstances we unfortunately had little choice but to stay here. The staff were unfriendly, lazy and outright dishonest. - Accepted payment methods changed daily depending on who was on reception (some days they only accepted cash upfront) - As did the cost of the... I stayed at Hillinger Hotel two years ago while I was traveling though Europe with some friends. The hotel is overall nice but the staff doesn't really speak English that good and neither do the locals. We seldom found anyone who could give us directions or to speak with in a bar. Anyway, the hotel is nice, they have good... More

even if the hotel advertises itself as refurbished in 2004, they obviously used the old furniture from 1980s. boring and weary, a bit overpriced, with 20 euro taxi to any train station or city centre, and 35 euro taxi to airport, the only advantage being a fast and reliable internet and the nice and friendly / helping ladies at the... A nice wee place, very clean and affordable. (we've read about it on the web,so we didn't expect much) The staff, though not being able to speak much English, were very kind to us and very helpful. Very unusual breakfast for us- I wonder if they still serve those blood-red oranges (never seen them in the UK!) and very tasty bread they also... More

Hotel is located some distance outside of city centre, requiring tram and U-bahn to get to city centre and conference centre, taking approx. 20 minutes. A few restaurants are a tram journey away. Hotel was clean but furnishings are old/cheap and some areas e.g. restaurant were in need of repair. Though there was some effort to repairs being carried out.... More

The hotel looks a bit old, but it was clean. Room was clean, really nice. Air conditioning was a plus point. Staff in the reception and restaurant were very nice, helpful. Breakfast was ok, few choices of each item. And also the terrace was open, so we could enjoy the nice morning! One negative point is the lift was not... More
