This is my second time here as a tour leader. It's a realmcomfy hotel with not so big rooms but very comfy beds and clean. each room has a little kitchenette which is very comfortable. A little far from the center but good transportation. Staff extremely pleasant. Breakfast also good. I highly recommend it.

The public areas of this hotel may look 4 star but be careful what room you book. We expected a 4 star double room. In reality we had a 2-3 star self catering apt. The twin beds were smaller than a standard single, small bathroom with only a shower and no utensils so the "kitchen" was no use either. We... More

Very good hotel, comfortable, clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Facilities also good (fitness room, etc. available if required). Although out of the city centre, good links via bus, tram and train. Excellent value for money. We have visited twice and would happily go again.

We had a two night stay as part of a package tour and there was nothing we could complain about. The rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet & well maintained with a nice balcony overlooking pleasant gardens. The bathroom large enough with toiletries & nice fluffy towels. The hotel has a restaurant which serves very good food with a good choice... More

I went here for location. If you have no business in 19. district, I don't see how this hotel can convince you. Breakfast is a 13€ rip-off, rooms are not very clean. The good thing is Spar Gourmet is close by so you can get something to eat there. The bar is open every night, and there are restaurants nearby.... More

I know Vienna very well but this was my first stay here. I had a large clean room at the back (quiet) with a balcony, free internet, a couple of fee drinks from the mini-bar, excellent and copious breakfast. The location was perfect for my purposes, with all kinds of public transportation across the street and around the corner. My... More

This hotel is on the edge of Vienna, towards the wine village of Grinzing. Rooms are small (single bed) but quiet and with good wifi. Breakfast is good. Staff at the reception is welcoming and helpful.

As usual it was a pleasant stay in a well situated hotel. We enjoyed the good public services (line 38) to the center and the commercli oppurtunities in Oberdoebling! At least i chose the hotel be cause its near to the apartment of m mother and the price was rather opportune.

Having lived in Vienna and traveled there often, this is our favorite hotel in Vienna for the money. The breakfast is on par with those in five star hotels in this beautiful city. The beds are single beds but with wonderful crisp bedding, beautiful warm comforters, and the environmental control units in the room are great in winter and summer--ask... More

Staying in Dobling

Neighborhood Profile
Dobling
Vienna’s poshest green leafy suburb is also its most romantic hotspot. Walk up Grinzinger Strasse with its many historic wine taverns. The tops of nearby Nussberg and Reisenberg hills make for great strolls through the vineyards, and the occasional discovery of a hidden winery. Popular local weekend hangouts are Neustift am Walde with even more great wine taverns, and café restaurant Cobenzl, up on Cobenzl hill – fantastic for great vistas of Vienna. The woodland around Kahlenberg has a wonderful and not too strenuous hiking path - just don't forget the insect repellent. If you have adventurous children, take them to Waldseilpark Kahlenberg (forest rope park Kahlenberg). A must-do if you want a taste of the Vienna Woods is a stop at Josefinenhütte next door with its great food, cosy interiors and wonderful outdoor space.
