It is good hotel. Location is close to West Banhof and shopping street. Short walk to supermarket. Room is clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly support. It is valuable for your money that you paid.

This hotel is in a good location, away from all the hustle and bustle but still within short walking distance of Mariahilferstraße and the Westbahnhof. For us, the location was perfect as we attended a musical at the Raimund Theatre, which is directly across the road. The decor is simple and retro and the facilities are comfortable. The staff were... More

The receptionists were rude on numerous occasions and did not speak English really well. They cancelled my reservation WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION and then i had to pay for the rooms AGAIN, this time with a bigger price. Also, check in is really late, at 2 pm. The rooms could have been cleaner and the furniture is dated to say the... More

Stayed there when it's still ibis styles. Good location as it's close to the main train station, and you can take metro to most of the attractions later. We were there in summer and we got very good value for the price. Old place but clean enough.

Hotel was nice, 4 minutes walking distance to the metro station, we took the 6 persons room, it was big enough and the bathroom was also big but there was only one mirror. Staff was fair with good english, except that they locked our room because we went out without paying although it was one day before our departure. There... More

Nice, comfortable hotel in a good location, close to Westbahnhof station. It's not right in the city centre but the metro is a few minutes walk as well as the big famous shopping street with bars and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, staff nice, breakfast not amazing but nice engough. For the money we paid it was definitely... More

Nice hitel with friendly staff, good food, big room.. A bit retro, but very clean.. Empty minibar, an only local tv chanals.. Close to subway and tram... The center is at 15-25 min walk.. Quiet zone.. For a 3* hotel it s ok.. I would recoman it..

After visiting Roma and France, we were very pleased coming to Vienna and staying in this hotel. The price is good and the quality is overexpected in comparison to the price. Very close to the central station and Aldi. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. Would definitely come back when Im in Vienna again.

Very close to Wien Westbahnhof and the underground. Large room, big bathroom, very clean. The furniture is not new but everything was clean. The reception staff was friendly and made it possible for us to have early check in. We didn't try anything from the food. I can say it was cheap compared to other hotels close to the train... More

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
