Stayed here on a business trip for 4 nights. Terrible. Rooms were small and everything was old (not retro as they claimed). Most of hotel in serious need of renovation. i found this hotel to be nothing like I expected from reading the reviews. Its was warm, clean and very central to the main shopping area and train stations. I was a little dissapointed in the breakfast which was cold but otherwise I found this hotel good value for money more

this is your average basic tourist hotel. rooms very clean and tidy if a little old fashioned. hotel is situated a good 10-15min walk to the famous shopping street and right across the road from the raimund theatre. it is also quite close to the underground station. not too many decent restaurants near hotel just a few very smokey bars!... more

The room was only ready at 2 p.m. by the minute (which it also promised in the reservation, so I cant really complain. We have just returned from a long weekend in Vienna. Upon arrival and during our stay all the staff were very polite and helpful. Room was excellent. The breakfast was traditional , plenty to choose from and tasty. Although located approx 20 mins walking distance from the centre of Vienna , the main shopping street is only 5 minutes away.... more

I got this hotel for €55 per night and booked it for a short stay. The staff were nice, breakfast ok but nothing special. The most funn thing however, was the room.
