We stayed here using Marriott points however we stayed at a different hotel our last night which we enjoyed more. This hotel is right across from a nice park and near good restaurants. The room faced the park which was nice and their executive club had good food and nice view. The outside of the hotel doesn't look anything like... More

Always a pleasure to have business with Marriott. Great service, beautiful venue, best staff ever - always polite, very assistive, trying to do even more than you ask. Again surprised us with many compliments. Separate thanks to Markus Schmidt, events executive, for his support and very detailed prepration, as well as for being extremely helpful on site. Also, special thanks... More

Overall our stay at this Marriott was adequate. The location is convenient to walk from the central train station in Vienna and is right across the street from a nice outdoor park. It is only about a 10 minute walk to most major attractions and there are buses and trains that run in front of the hotel if you want... More

Great location within easy walking distance of the major attractions. The "inside" rooms overlook a courtyard that resembles a jail !! So if possible ask for an outside room. The pool and sauna area are great. Breakfast is fantastic with a large selection. The room mini bar is so over priced it is not funny and be aware the even... More

Location: for us was perfect; we landed in Vienna and stayed here, than had a trip to Tyrol and come back for another night; we wanted something closer to the airport and town center in the same time; is hotel is close to CAT (you can walk to the station in 5 min) and also walk to center in 5-10... i was there as a participant of an international conference . The reception was fast ,efficient and friendly and so was the Concierge and the Business Center. My room was a good size one,the bed was ok and the furniture was designed with efficiency rather than beauty in mind. Room and bathroom were clean and everything functioned properly. The Conference... More

This hotel is run down, the location overall is not fantastic and the staff while friendly is not helpful. There are some good local restaurants walking distance and the St. Stephan isn't too far. Overall it was a mediocre stay, if I go another time I would not stay here.

This huge hotel is situated across the street from the city Park. A tram station is jst opposite . It is 7 minutes from Stephansplatz on foot, via Weihburggasse. The train to the airport is 900 meters away.Apart from that, the breakfast is really excellent with cutomized omellettes and big variety of cheeses and salami,Due to its size, it is... More

We had stayed at this hotel on prior trips. The service continues to be outstanding. The rooms and common areas are well appointed and clean. The location is great walking distance to Stephanplatz. Public transportation (trolleys right outside the door) and the underground stations are very close to the hotel, so it is easy to see all there is to... More

I am a Marriott rewards member, therefore, I've stayed in many Marriott Hotels around the world. I have to say that the Vienna Marriott was by far one of the best! Friendly staff-from the front desk, to room service, to housekeeping. I can truly find no fault with this hotel!! The room was typical Marriott (very nice) but it was... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
