I booked 2 rooms at this hotel directly on marriott.com for my family's Europe trip on July 1 for 4 nights. We are travelling with 2 children and my elderly mother. Prior to our arrical, I received confirmation emails and also an separate email from hotel sales requesting the other name to use for one of the rooms since both... More

We used our Marriott points and ended up with 5 free nights. Upon arrival we were given a suite on the executive level which gave us access to the executive dining room for the free breakfast. The breakfast was great and we snagged some things for snacks later in the day. Hotel also had free wifi. Most fun was the... More

I stayed at this property for a conference in June 2015. The exercise room is very nice for Europe- much nicer than I am used to. Luckily I am a Marriott Gold rewards club member and am able to use the executive level for some snacks and breakfast. The breakfast in the lounge had so many choices and all day... More

This hotel is outstanding. It was during our stay fully booked, but we didn't have the impression. Everybody was welcome. The information desk gave us all information for us, as tourists, as we were alone. (a congress took place the same time)

Stayed here in July 2014 with family. Can’t beat this hotel for location. It is located in the centre of historic Vienna and is only a 30-35 minute taxi ride from the Vienna International Airport (VIE). Front desk staff were very polite, professional and helpful. Check in was very efficient. The hotel lobby is beautiful, with a large seating area,... More

Had a great experience here. Would recommend this hotel for families with children. Right in the centre opposite the Stadtpark where Johann Strauss's statue is. The park entrance opposite the hotel entry make it easy to access. Tram stop across the front entry and the "Big Bus" stop is few steps away. The breakfast was excellent and Gold level gets... More

We spent 2 nights at the Marriott form 16th June. On previous visits to Vienna we have stayed at the Intercontinental and the Le Meridian and decided to try the Marriott for a change. We were not disappointed. The check in staff were very friendly and efficient. My travelling companion celebrated his 50th Birthday on the 17th and having been... More

What a wonderful hotel!! A very spacious room with two double beds with a park view. The hotel staff was excellent! Very helpful and useful tips from the concierge. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The lounge for Marriott loyalty members was very large with lots of variety.

Perhaps its a peak season we were there during winter, hotel is like a mad mess of people. Mixed development with some hotel retail in first few level of the establishment. Hotel staff don't seem to bother about service at all, experiencing cold treatment both in the day and night because they couldn't tell who are hotel guests and who... More

The hotel has an excellent location! It is just15 minutes by train from Vienna airport then 15 minutes’ walk through Stadt park. The breakfast is very nice. Spa and pool are rather good. Personnel is friendly and well trained. But rooms are more like American motel's ones. I saw its cost 670 euro! But really it should be 67 euro... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
