So, when me and my friend had decided to visit Vienna, we decided we wanted a hotel with a swimming pool and so we went for Renaissance. We weren't dissappointed. The reception staff were very helpful and as we arrived earlier than when the rooms were ready so we could check in, the staff put the roomtype we had as... More

Having previously read the reviews for this hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were large and very clean and comfortable. A small but pleasant pool, and very refreshing after a days sightseeing in the beautiful city of Vienna. The Hotel is very close to the Metro... More

Great staff. Very happy and helpful. Good food. Good location to underground stations x 2. No view from room and no where to sit outside on glorious day! Roof top pool amazing views. Wifi extra price too which isn't ideal. No tea making facilities in room which I'd expect as the normal these days. But good base for vienna.

The Renaissance brand is supposed to be one of Marriott's best or at least that is what I thought. There is no doubt the hotel has its good points but the quality of the rooms and the breakfast ( I paid extra for the business package) fell well short of expectations. On the positive side the hotel is well located... More

Dear Robert G, First of all thank you for taking the time to share your experience of your visit to Vienna and the Renaissance Wien Hotel. I truly appreciate your constructive comments and apologise where we did not meet your expectations. Stayed in this hotel for one day from 19/7 to 20/7. the hotel is a bit far from Vienna station but close to metro station, 2 min walk. the staff was very courteous & helpful. the room are very welldone, keeping in view with all the requirement, but the WIFI is not free, the panaromic view from the roof top... This is a great hotel for the business and tourist traveler. The rooms are good and quiet, the wifi coverage is very good and the food and service are great. Excellent value for money! There is even a great taxi service based in the hotel, Raedarius, that can be booked in advance for any pickup and drop off.

This is a bigh, high-class hotel with all the benefits that brings but with the archaic notion of charging for wifi at an exorbitant rate. The rooms are luxurious and well fitted with everything and anything you might want.  There is big deep bath, comfortable chairs,  a writing desk, large bed with high quality linen, a minI bar that you... We had a 15 hour layover in Vienna and used Marriott points to stay at this hotel. The staff was great. They were very accommodating when bringing in a roll away bed for our niece who was traveling with my husband and I. They also gave the BEST recommendation for a real Viennese restaurant - Magingstuberl - 2 subway stops... More

The rooms are simple but nice, clean and adequate. Location is very close to transport links but a little far out of the city center. There is a bar downstairs which proved quite popular on our stay. There are a few restaurants around the hotel, but really the area is largely residential (except for the train station), so you will... More

This was quite a pleasant hotel, The food in the restaurant was good, although slightly disappointing the T-bone was veal, however the fillet looked fantastic. The choice of beers at the bar was good too. There was also a roof top swimming pool. I'd happily stay here again.
