The Imperial Riding School lives up to the Renaissance Hotel standards in being very stately and providing fine dining. Of course it is also overflowing with historical signifiance and ambiance. However, for the amenities available and the value received it is somewhat overpriced. We were given a room on the Club Floor at no extra charge but its furnishings and... more

I have now stayed over 100 nights in this hotel this year. I have been in Vienna off and on since April designing a network for a local mobile operator. I have stayed all but one visit at this hotel, and I think it is wonderful. The staff, the room service and the buffet breakfast measure up to any 4... more

Stayed here for a conference at the Messe Congress center. The hotel was spacious, spotless and elegantly furnished. My room was large with one of the most comfortable beds I have been in for years. The bathroom, with bath, was clean - but did have a rather low ceiling which meant that the fixed shower head didn't quite spray onto... more

The setup is quite elegant. Receptionists are nice and the doorman(?), Floben, was so helpful in giving us directions and where to take our metro rides. We were also given our own coffeemaker in our room and a pair of slippers. You can request it, although they have coffee in the lobby every morning. Only drawback is it is not... more

BEWARE! This hotel is really Jekyll & Hyde depending on whether you stay in the old building, or the new ‘Imperial Club’ across the road. Mr. Hyde (the old building): Marriott rank this hotel as a level ‘5’ (I would guess this is based more on location than quality!) – that gives you a room in the old building (the... more

Beautiful interior, nice rooms with all the usual corporate hotel amenities. Great breakfast buffet with large variety. This hotel had the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on. Just around the corner from the hotel is a subway stop which makes it easy to get around. There is a beautiful Russian Orthodox church a few steps from the hotel.... more

As some have said in their reviews, this is a hotel that lacks any kind of personality, charm, warmth. It is a tour-bus and conference-attendees focused building. The building has no view on anything. It is not in the center of the city but has plenty of public transportation options within 1-2 min walk. A major plus is that you... more

This was a large hotel catering primarily to business travelers. Nothing was included--not breakfast or parking or wi-fi. And the service was always good, although it felt corporate and sitance. But the price was good for a last minute booking and it wasn't too far from city center, especially if you took the tram. There are a lot of stores... more
