Our day in Vienna was on the hottest day of the year when temps reached almost the 100F mark. Unfortunately for us the air conditioning in our room didn't work and the night was miserable. We had chalked it up to it being so hot and many hotels in Europe do not have AC, but our kids stayed in another... More

When me and my friends stayed in Vienna we searched for a place to stay with indoor pool. This is how we found the Imperial Riding School. Pool is quite small but sufficient when you only need to cool down a bit. Hotel is very luxurious except is misses the point by not supplying their quests with any comfort. For... More

These were the best beds ever. Never had anything like it. Mattresses superb, enough pillows and wonderful soft blankets. Hard to get out of them and easy to get into them. Slept like a baby. Room was modern and very clean but a bit too narrow, an unpleasant squeeze feel to it. The swimming pool was a big disappointment, small,... More

It seems a new trend that some hotels eliminate the concierge desk so you simply go to front desk for everything, and it was the case for Imperial Riding School Renaissance in Vienna. The problem was there was a conference during our stay and the front desk was extremely busy so I had to wait in line even I just... More

Had another great stay at one of my favorite hotels anywhere! The staff, the location, the room, everything was outstanding! They treated me like a king and granted every request!! I will return! The breakfast was also great!! Even the checkout went without any problems!!

We've stayed more than one week in July at this hotel and were really impressed by everything! At first sight it could seem that the hotel is not so close to the city center, but finally we realized that location is great. The train station is 5 minutes walking and you can easily get to the airport in 25 minutes from... Pros: quite location far from centre, good breakfast, hotel kindly offered free cocktail as the temperature was very high Cons, The reception staffs are very busy to check/check out so staff can't provide good service to the guests, the room wasn't ready when we got there and we had to wait to room becomes ready. We checked in late but... More

Stayed at the hotel in July of this year as a space for two families. Location was excellent to walk to trams, under grounds and train connections. It's a bit far away from good restaurants but off the beaten track from the tourist areas so it's a balance. The hotel was good quality with 90's decor and English speaking staff.... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Imperial Riding School Renaissance, the hotel makes an excellent "home base" for a family vacation or those looking for comfortable experience at a value price. Thank you TripAdvisor because we felt like we knew what to expect prior to arriving. The Imperial Riding School is a large hotel, one of the few with a... More

I loved the location of the hotel...just 200 meters from R&S lines. The rooms are nice in size and front desk staff very hospitable. The hotel was very crowded when we landed and hence I found fitness centre and pool to be almost inaccessible but the Imperial Club lounge never felt crowded and was the highlight of our stay.
