I recommend this hotel. It's close to the Museum Quarter and the palace . 15 min walk to old town through the palace Rooms a clean ,spacious and they offer a free breakfast buffet. Hotel staff is very helpful and go out of their way to help you with directions or any other question you may have or any need.... More

My title is a take off of a Seinfeld quote describing a plain, non-interesting person. That's this hotel to put it short. The location seems okay. Staff was fine. Room was big. We were there during hot spell, and no air condition made it tough, especially with a water closet with no ventilation. Room furniture was dated. I disliked the... More

Stayed at the Savoy Vienna as the end of a Rick Steve's Tour. Large room, separate bathroom/toilette room and walk in closet! No a/c made for a long and unpleasant night. Horrible view into the windows of a crappy apartment building 50' away. Room was very clean. Breakfast was ok. The hotel (in a city with hotels everywhere) was in... More

We stayed as 3 friends and shared a triple room. The room was comfortable though quite compact for 3. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with directions etc. The reception is reached by a flight of stairs and the lift only starts there, so not a good location for anyone with mobility problems. Breakfast was included and was... More

Others have commented fully on the hotel which was a very comfortable place for a three day stay. As they say, the rooms are well proportioned and nicely furnished in an old world kind of a way. My bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent and I had plenty of space. The breakfast is lovely (no hot option) and... More

On the positive: A few steps to the U3 underground line, and only three stops to the center of Vienna at the Cathedral. Price was fair at 125 Euros including breakfast. Room felt clean although floors were a bit shabby. Internet was free and worked well. Front desk staff were helpful. On the negative: Breakfast room is very small and... More

The Hotel Savoy is very well located near, but not in the city center. It is "cozy" as others have described it as well as clean. The breakfast was decent, but the breakfast room is very small. Our room was on the fifth floor and was quite warm during the day (no AC). All in all, I give it a... More

Located not far from the Museum Quartal, this hotel offers a very good service for affordable prices. I was very happy that there is an underground parking right near the hotel, since it was quite difficult to park a car in the street near the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, I especially liked that there was a wardrobe... More

Its a pretty nice place with very helpful staff and located right near the street with all the shops. Even the station is a 3 minute walk which is rather convenient. The rooms are quite pretty and spacious.

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
