Very Comfortable hotel 10 mins walk from Wien HbF. Excellent wifi in the Rooms. Decent breakfast selection. There is a shortage of good quality restaurants nearby and can only suggest the mid range restaurant a few doors down heading back to station. Big plus is the 20 min walking distance to the military Museum which is great. Good Value for... More

I stayed here in the summer with friends on a cycling holiday - emphasis was on value and I stayed in a room overlooking the ring road. This time it was with my wife on a city break - we had a flights + hotel deal and went for a superior double. City view - yes. Nice bathroom - yes.... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in February. Overall it's a good, average hotel. It was very conveniently located as it is across from Wien Hauptbahnhoff station, so I arrived there by train from Budapest and also got a train from there to Prague. The actual building looks bad from the outside. Once inside its ok, quite traditional... More

We spent in this hotel 5 nights and didn't regret that we chose it. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the train station which is very comfortable to get from the airport and back. The reception looks good due to it's decor! On our arrival we were given a tiny room for two but after a while we got... More

I got a double en suite room here at a very surprising rate. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. The breakfast (included in the price) was acceptable. The hotel is located near the main train station of Vienna and U Bahn station (7 to 10 minutes walk), which enable me to go to the airport quite conveniently.

An excellent well-priced clean updated old style hotel with powerful shower. Close to Belvedere and 21er Haus, short walk to the train station, an easy walk to the central shopping district, a good breakfast with no unnecessary formality. The nearby train station connects directly to Vien-Mitte for the airport CAT. Staff are reasonably helpful if you ask. The wifi not... More

Good location. Belvedere 100m. Metro and tram nearby. Easy to get to the anywhere. Breakfast simple. No parking! Nobody help to pack the luggage. Good but simple room... Clean hotel. 4* but not like the Big franchise hotels. Normal price... Nothing special

Excellent hotel, close to the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and a walking distance to Belvedere Castle where there is currently Claude Monet´s exhibition. From the Belvedere tram D will take you to the city centre. Room was clean, large enough and also quiet as it was facing the yard. Rich breakfast, wide choice.

Very close too the main central station. The room was ok, nothing more. Breakfast was pretty good. Belvadere was just nearby for some sightseeing. You could easily take s-bahn from the airport to the station. Takes around 20-30 min with 1 change at Rennweg.

The hotel is worth the money. But it isn't a 4 stars hotel. It is definetely a 3 stars hotel. The service is good. The location is amazing (a 5 minutes walk to the Belvedere Palace, also there is a U-Bahn station right next to the hotel which connects it with the city centre). Though, the rooms are quite small.

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
