My Mom and I stayed at the wonderful Art Hotel from Oct. 8 - 15th, 2007. I enjoyed the hotel location in a working class neighbourhood. We have just returned (08/07) from the Golden Tulip Art Hotel in Vienna and have found it a pleasant no frills base for exploring this fine city. The rooms are good, although there is no air conditioning something significant in the summer. This is a hotel in a great position but with several drawbacks. The rooms are basic with a superficial upgrade of feature colour walls, light fixtures and thankfully double glazing. Nice hotel. Rooms are a little small, but the bathrooms are great, new, clean, and very spacious. The inclusive continental breakfast was very nice with hot and cold foods that were plentiful and tasty. Would definitely recommend this hotel, as the front desk staff were very helpful. No problem with language translations at this hotel. more
