An older style hotel, but very comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff who spoke English fluently. The hotel has excellent room rates. The room and en-suite are clean and tidy, being serviced daily. Very close to buses, hop on hop off, river cruises, shops, cafes and the historic old city. Breakfast is available and is quite adequate to start the... More

Hotel Capricorno is a well-priced hotel in the centre of Vienna. The hotel is a little worn but clean. The rooms are quiet, in spite of being on the ring road. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is fine. You can walk to most sights and if you prefer, you can get on a tram or the underground only... More

Hotel capricorno looks lkke it has seen better days on the outside but is just fine on the inside. The staff are welcoming and kind and eager to help you. The rooms are a tad old fashioned in decor but still have all the amenities you need and there was something fitting about the old school charm and elegance that... More

Perfect location for visiting the historical center of Vienna near the St. Stephan Church, the fantastic architectural ensemble of this amazing city...The hotel offers a fair rate for a simple but nice room. Nice breakfast buffet at the restaurant on the second floor which has a nice view from its balcony. There is a kind of kirsch decor and looks... More

Business: The room is small ( single bed room) but very clean, th bed was super comfortable and I slept really well. There is a minibar fridge, safe, television, shower room with complimentary bathroom items and a BALCONY. Where can you find that in VIENNA?. The WiFi is free and works very well. Staff are very friendly, and the breakfast... More

The Capricorno is very well located for walking to all the best sights in Vienna. Only Schonbrunn requires the Underground and this is situated 50 meters from the hotel. Our room was very pleasantly furnished. The reception staff were helpful and the breakfast was very good and served by attentive and polite staff. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

This hotel could not have a better location for exploring Vienna. It's right next to the Schwedenplatz metro station and you can get to and from the airport very easily. We stayed here for 2 nights and have no complaints at all. Friendly, unobtrusive staff, large, comfortable room in a very convenient location. It may look a bit dated but for a place to stay for a few days, it can't be beaten.

The two of us spent 4 nights in Capricorno this Easter (2014),and we had a good time there.
