Capricorno is a small hotel at the Schwedenplatz in Vienna. Nice rooms, good breakfast included. Coffee and cakes can also be obtained after 15 p.m. Too much noise in the evenings, when a lot of people in the streets. Located centrally. Not particularly cheap. We paid 544 euro for 3 nights.

We stayed at this hotel in 25th out 28th April. We travel very often in all the world and I must say that the welcome and support received in this hotel I have been best received in our travels. We have chosen this hotel reading the various reviews in internet, as we always do. The location is central, a few... More

Lovely little hotel in a great location. The staff were nice and the rooms were cosy and cute. After travelling to a few places in Europe I would not expect huge rooms anywhere, and the rooms here are the same. Minibar, tv and really nice bathrooms plus a bonus nespresso machine and really comfortable beds is all you need and... More

Lovely hotel with cute small rooms, nicely designed, comfy bed, great shower. The best was very rich and kind of bio oriented breakfast plus incredibly friendly stuff. Garage hotel and the location (5 min to Stadt park and 8 to Stephans platz) made it all just perfect for us.

The Capricorno is an excellent newly renovated hotel in Wien. The renovation has updated the bathrooms and the color scheme in the rooms is modern. The shower worked well and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and kind. This hotel was always good value, and, in Schwedenplatz very convenient for the main sights of the city. Schwedenplatz itself is busy and not the most elegant part of Vienna, but the hotel rooms are quiet and well equipped. The new bathrooms have a good feeling and are spacious. Breakfast is a fairly standard Austrian buffet, the waitresses a little... More

A pleasant hotel at a reasonable price. The rooms are comfortable, but a bit noisy if you have the windows open, as the hotel faces the Ringstrasse. Excellent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Only about two minutes walk from the U-barn on the U-1 line, which is very convenient if you are working at the Vienna International Centre. Be... Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
