I stayed at the Regina with my wife for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. I was a little concerned about prior reviews, but we had a great time there. You have to keep in mind that it is an "old" property (in bussiness since 1896) that could benefit from some redecoration, but it certainly keeps some Old... more

The hotel is within walking distance to the city center. Great location by the Votiv church with public transport near. Excellent breakfast. Rooms are tiny--even by European standards and toiletries were non-existent. I expected more. Internet never worked in the rooms but there is a business center and wireless is available in the lobby area (both 3 EUR/30 minutes). Transport... more

Ups: Friendly staff, quit spacious rooms, very well situated, satisfying breakfast. Downs: blocked sink, extremely bad matresses (not good for your low Back pain/Sciatica - Hey! I m an orthopod. I m supposed to see these things), For early June the room temp was ok but it didn't have any A/C so later in the summer this could be a... more

Perfect Location for walking to key places of interest. About a 20 min walk to Stephansdom. Nice, large and clean rooms Polite and helpful staff Good choice at breakfast Restaurant Roth good for evening meals and reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant Be prepared for Vienna to be expensive, especially the way the euro is at the moment to the... more

This is the premier hotel in a small family chain. Its location was ideal for a family. Opposite a playpark & within walking distance of the centre. We had a suite that was not 100% modern, but authentic and refreshingly different from your general chain establishments. It was so well sound proofed and comfortable, it was pleasure to return back... more

Had a great stay at the Hotel Regina. It's an old, historic hotel. With a bit of renovation it would probably be amazing - but it's still nice as it is. Maybe more of a 3-3.5 star. Things like the tiny dorm-room television detracted a bit, but the rooms were clean, adequate in size and nice. The deep, 3/4-size tub... more

Regina is an old hotel, quite like the whole Vienna. The lobby didn't show us something to look forward to, but in the end the rooms were quite fine. We stayed in a standard double room, had a view on the side street. The beds were clean, the toilet was ok. A couple of disadvantages: we waited for our room... more

I stayed in this hotel with a friend on a city break to visit the Christmas markets. The hotel is lovely, retaining it's historic features, and the staff were very friendly. The food was excellent both for breakfast and in the Roth restaurant for dinner. Location wise the hotel is excellent, 10 minutes from the main Christmas market and an... more

The Hotel Regina was a lovely old fashioned hotel, clean with friendly staff, the receptionists couldnt have been more helpful. The rooms were quite small, but for a city break, you dont spend much time in them. The breakfast was quality and plentiful, and if you chose to have an evening meal, the service was quick and the food was... more
