The room was comfortable and clean, with all necessities needed for a city break, however there was no air conditioning so we asked for a fan and found one in the room the next day after our day around Vienna. The staff were excellent and when we arrived at Hotel Kunsthof we had a car and parking was simple thanks... More

We (me and my wife) stayed in hotel Kunsthof from 24th to 28th July, 2015. This was our first time in Vienna and the hotel staff were extremely friendly in terms of explaining directions and giving suggestions to us. Ou room on the top floor was quite hot on the first day and the hotel was unable to provide a... More

The welcome, the helpful receptionists, the comfort, the incredible breakfast, the peace and quiet.......nothing negative to say. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about their city and the transport system. Their favourite bars and eating places proved to be where we went and we loved them. We will return to Vienna because we found a good hotel that was... More

I stayed in a double room for 3 nights. The hotel lobby was quite nice. But we lived in the top floor and the slope roof took some place of our room. Basically the room is quite nice and the bed is comfortable, some basic stuff was provided like tissue paper. But the bathroom and toilet was quite old as... More

VERY CLEAN!, Good situation, nice modern decoration, small rooms but enough for a couple. They attend always with charm and they permitt us to keep our hired bicycles. We recommend it because it has everything you need for a weekend Vienn visit.

Good and friendly service, quiet location - at least it was when nearby construction workers stopped using jackhammers. I liked the ambience of the hotel, good breakfast. One of the main advantages is the location, 5 min to Underground, 5 min to the airport train. The furniture is a little worn-off but in good condition, bathroom clean and fully operational.

The hotel is located very close to train stop for airport and for public transport. Nice cozy rooms. Excellent staff (seriously, it's a pleasant surprise how professional and helpful the staff are). Great breakfast. Great value for the price.

Near to metro station, it's a good hotel without high expectations I suggest. Room was clean but bed was not so comfortable, good wifi , the breakfast was really good and complete. The personnel is kind and very supportive.

It took me a while to decide whether to review this hotel or not. The main reason being because I really couldn't make up my mind as to whether I liked it or not - I guess due to a problem with high expectations thank to trip advisor - so I am going to try to be very clear in... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
