When I first arrived at Hotel am Augarten, I was immediately pleased with the quality of service. The lady behind the desk was helpful and informative, providing me with a thorough run-down of hotel policy etc. I stayed in a 3-bed mixed dorm, which upon entry shocked me - it was just like a hotel room. Microwave, kettle, mini fridge,... More

The hotel itself is very tastefully decorated in a typical Viennese style. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent and we could get tea, coffee, cakes and fruit all day long. It is very close to the old city center, however the area is not that great to walk around much so I would recommend using... More

The hotel is a ten minute walk away from Praterstern where trains run to and from the Airport. This is also the nearest metro although Taborstrasse(on a different line) is also a tem minute walk. The area is quiet and respectable with a nearby Austrian restaurant and supermarkets. The Hotel is a very good quality 3 star hotel-well kept up... More

Regarging the location, the hotel is -10 min away from the old city center by walk - near one of the railway station where a train to/from the airport is available. We got a spacious room with a clean bathroom (bathtube included). This room seems to have been renovated recently. The separated beds were comfortable (nothing fancy).Only the TV was... More

I spend three nights at the hotel on a business trip. Hotel is clean, rooms are okay, bed sleep all right (not like home, but that is always the case), breakfast buffet was fine, free coffee and cake all day long, WiFi available at reasonable rates (€12,- for a business account per day, fast enough to be able to work... We arrived by train into Praterstern station and found this hotel with relative ease. The area is a little run-down and serves as a base to get in and out of the city. The metro system is excellent and efficient, meaning that getting into the centre of town is easy. The breakfast is great - cereals/eggs/breads/antipasti and the rooms were... More

This is a great value overnight stop in Vienna and provides a comfortable place to stay. It is not in the greatest area, a little run down, with a couple of dubious looking bars in the area. You will probably arrive at Praterstern and from this travel interchange it is a 5 minute walk. Great location for Praterpark if thats... More

I booked this hotel at the last minute and got a very low rate for 3 nights so to be honest I wasn't expecting very much, but I was plesantly surprised. I would say this is the best 3* I have ever stayed in and when it comes to cleanliness it would put some of the 4* and 5* hotels... More

The price was very good for the hotel. Location was excellent - easy to arrive from the airport by train. Takes 7 minute to walk to the hotel. Also same distance to the subway and light rail. Within 15 minutes walking distance to the town center. Everything was very clean, the room was sparklingly clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast... More

This hotel is clean and well run. The location is in a primarily residential area but close to underground and commuter trains. We found several good neighborhood restaurants to eat in nearby. The room was relatively spacious by European standards and very clean. We were one floor above the street but because this is a residential area the traffic noise... More
